ALRIC STORMBRINGER
A beautiful day @splinterlands community! How's your day? I hope everyone is happy with the chance to see how wonderful the world is. This content will show you the digital process on how to draw a splinter character (Alric Stormbringer). This cards is one of the best alpha and beta splinter cards because of its advantage which adds magic attack to all magic cards. A rare card with a low mana cost of 3 . Isn't it beneficial? After observing the card it inspires me to draw the character. Let's begin!
The Card Used as Inspiration and it's Lore

The oldest ΛZMΛRÉan Summoner, Alric Stormbringer, founded the modern arts of Chaos Magic. He has many pupils from around the Splinterlands. Alric’s gift is not so much bringing the storm, but channeling it. He has lived for hundreds of years, and some stories claim he was alive before the Splintering.
The Process
All Steps in 5 Phases
Phase 1
SKETCH. This stage used thin and thick lines that serves as guide. It was concrete enough with enclosed areas for an easy bucket application.
Phase 2
SKIN AND COSTUME. This stage used the bucket for coloring. Using the reference I started to select color for the initial application. Ranges of color from blue to yellow are used and adjusted. Then grey for the other parts.
Phase 3
SHADES AND ENHANCEMENT. This stage was the enhancement of colors by adding shades and of course the other elements of the art. The wand as well as the magic effect on the right hand of the character.
Phase 4
BACKGROUND. This stage was the creation of background like a randala style that could actually compliment the character. I have added some combinations of pretty colors as well and applied using the 8 divisions effect to create randala.
Phase 5
FINALIZATION. This stage was to commence by integrating the first canvas and the second canvas or the background. Then adding some faded colors to the lightning effects of the magic and the wand. A sort of enhancement to beautify the final output.
