Great day @splinterlands community! How's your beautiful day? I wish everyone is celebrating with this another day. This time I'll show you how to make a pixel art to a range card (Flame Mephit) from fire element. This card is one of the profound core cards because of its high speed and life for a novice placer. But what makes it more vital? Its Rebellion edition! Let's start to draw the new card.

Flame Mephits are lesser fire elementals conjured by mages to perform menial tasks, such as heating up dinner, lighting the fireplace, or destroying a forest.

The Process

All Steps in 4 Phases

Phase 1

THE INITIAL PRODUCTION. Before proceeding to the main part of the pixelation. I set the canvas into 100×100 measurement. Then followed by a sketch while sticking to the reference of the production. I wanted to make an animated GIF. Black ink was used and colors are not yet visible.

Phase 2

THE FIRST LAYER. The moment that colors are applied using the feature bucket to make the closed spaced easy to color. The pixelation has a continuous process by which the primary parts of the character's body was first colored. Followed by the garments and the base of the fire.

Phase 3

THE SECOND LAYER. After applying the color of the first layer the second one follows. Where in the second base of the fire has been applied. Then I choose the violet background to emphasize the central art. The selection is following the principles of outer and inner balance. Then I have change the frame in each layers to make movements as well. Getting into an igniting result is choosing the best color of the fiery power of the mephit.

Phase 4

THE FINAL PIXELATED GIF PRODUCT. After doing some alterations with each frame. I checked and started to preview the product before exporting. Seeing the result beautifully I immediately export the artwork and play it. Below is the result of my original animated pixel art.
