THE THREE FIGHTERS

A wonderful day @splinterlands community! How's your beautiful day? I wish everyone is good with their easter event. This time I'll uncover the digital process on how to draw the three characters (wood nymph, tarsa, and river nymph) from earth, fire, and water element. These three cards are usual cards from the different edition which allows beginners to play splinterlands. Tarsa is a summoner while the two nymphs are monsters. Isn't it amazing? The three characters shares a common characteristic which inspires me to draw them. Let's start!

The Process

All Steps in 5 Phases

Phase 1

THE INITIAL SKETCH. First step was to create a solid sketch with closed spaces ready for coloring using the bucket feature. The sketch was concrete using thick lines. It should be finalized and clear enough to be recognized.

Phase 2

THE FIRST PART. In this part I've color the body of the three characters that gives them lives. From green, to blue, to brown. I have the feeling of excitements to beautify them well.

Phase 3

THE SECOND PART. In this part the focus was the hair. Using the different opacities of the main base color I was able to design a distinct hair for each character. Also the other elements on their hair like the crown and the flower.

Phase 4

THE GARMENTS. The part where the garments are being colored and designed. This is one of the processes that makes me happy. It should be precise and perfect. Well after some applications of different brushes from fade to normal pen. The product is now ready for the background.

Phase 5

THE FINALIZATION. This time the background was made with plain dark. I intentionally make this to make emphasis on their powers. With blazing, watery, fiery, and leafy magical powers. From the three fighters! I just used fade and normal pen to do the magic. The result was stunning!
