Good day @splinterlands community! How's your day? I wish everyone is enjoying in the cyberspace. Today I'll gonna show you how to draw an astounding earth character (Wood Nymph) which is one of the reward cards. This earth card is one of the best cards because of its abilities. But what makes it more valuable? Its magic attack: Isn't it interesting? Now let's start the tutorial!

The Card Used as Inspiration and its Lore

A peculiar new bud appeared at the tips of the highest branches of the Elder Tree. The animals living in the tree watched as the strange buds grew, and in a matter of days, burst open. From each bud zoomed forth a tiny sprite. These Wood Nymphs quickly scattered around Anumün in a frenzy of mischief.

The Process

All Steps in 5 Phases

Phase 1

The very first step should be making a sketch out of thin and thick lines. I also make sure that lines are closed so that later on it's not difficult to apply color using a bucket feature. It's quite messy but finishing touches are the keys.

Phase 2

The next step should be selecting the base color of the skin in the range of green. Also the hair in yellow green tone and the designated flower. It's just the application of colors that can be seen dominant on the entire artwork.

Phase 3

This time the first application of the base color on the garment has been applied. It also includes the finalization of the hair to be more animated. The captivating eyes, and the vibrant flowers. The shadow has been also applied on the skin which gives a darker color than the base one.

Phase 4

Lowering the opacity and selecting the faded pencil makes the garment more attractive. The garment shows shadow and depth because of the faded effect.

Phase 5

The last step is the most significant one. The creation of the background and the integration of the first canvas to have a final artwork. Amazing!
