Returning after getting rid of assets when thinking I wouldn't play again but grinding up again
I have on and off come back and left Splinterlands many times, I didn't feel like I enjoyed it anymore and the time spare was not enough to keep to the amount I wanted to spend slowly earning and growing again.
But this time.. I feel like I can keep playing, this has been a good start with the rentals I am using to earn both much more Glint, but also more SPS in which I am wanting to get my stake boosted quicker!
I managed to hit Silver 3 pretty easily with the rentals I was using, but also skill and tactics learned from the many times I played and the length I had played too.
The rewards for reaching Silver 3 were a great pull with the epic and 3 rares.
But the biggest part right now is boosting my Glint and SPS earnings for each win I get which silver has helped for sure. However as I only started with about 35 staked SPS which I the next day had bought over 100 more and then the two days after that, bought even more to get to around 886 staked (picked up a few SPS from a couple days getting lots more wins) for now so it can at least mean when I do not rent any cards, I can still get a better amount of Glint and SPS than if I had 150 odd like after day 2.
I have used around 700 or so Glint previously used but currently, I have just over 3600 saved with much more to come before rentals end tomorrow, because I want to do a bulk buy of likely common cards or rares in order to raise levels of whatever I currently have.
Season reward is at over 5300 Glint so far with a lot more to come while I have these rentals and when I get a couple more days of renting before end of season.
Wins in a streak like this 4 streak I am on, have been netting around 140 Glint per win which is a big help to the eventual bulk buy likely when I get my end of season rewards and can get even more, maybe try a bunch of gold potions to go with it. But the SPS is also netting around 0.18 a win compared to when the lower staked SPS and leagues got me around 0.02 SPS.
Am I having fun and going to keep playing?
Yes I will say, I feel like I can get back into the game for the longer haul and this initial season and battle rewards, is going to get me some cards leveled and better help later on when I don't rent at all, potentially..
I believe I will keep renting next season as well because this speeds up SPS to get staked and the earnings to get even more staked from wins, but that boost in Glint so my buys can be more often and greater when not renting.
Currently I got have a lot of golds and legendaries but they are all from previous times playing and will help as I use only my own cards or between getting rentals, with the hopes of still getting some wins!
Now I must be off so I can get battles in before bed and also in the morning, while on the bus and train to the work office. Splinterlands grind is always real haha!
