Hey everyone! I'm back with another weekly battle. This week, we'll be taking a look at Goblin Psychic from the Earth splinter.
If you're not familiar with the challenge, you can check out all the details HERE.
Let's go check out some lore!
Lore
The Magi Tower is where Goblins go to learn how to use psychic abilities. It isn't just a gift Goblins can learn, but due to the proximity of Gobson, Goblins tend to show up more frequently. The Magi who calls the tower home, enjoys teaching the art of using one's mind to move objects and read thoughts. Goblin Psychics use their abilities to perform work in Gobson or become adventurers and practice to become a full fledged Summoner.

Opponent
I'm not familiar with @frogdynasty, but I dig their name. Let's take a look at their previous 5 battles.
Their previous 5 lineups look pretty solid. Unfortunately for me, they haven't been using Earth and they also don't seem to be favoring any one particular attack or defense.

Lineup
Whenever my magic needs some sauce, I know I can count on Obisidian to keep things spicy.
Mycelic Slipspawn This tank works well when paired with multiple healers, so let's get a little obnoxious and go for 3 of them! I'm not expecting Llama-Kron, but this lineup is THE lineup if you want to out-heal it every single time.
Furious Chicken Bawk!
Khmer Princess, Wood Nymph, and Goblin Psychic are all here on tank heal duties. This trio can out-heal SO many different offenses. The downside however, is that if Mycelic Slipspawn goes down too early, the rest of your team is in for a world of hurt.

Thoughts
That battle played out pretty much exactly how I expected. It's SO tough to get past a tank with Taunt when there's 3 healers hiding behind it. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it takes some serious damage and and some speed to really break through it. Watching Djinn Chwala bounce off that Forcefield a couple times was a nice surprise too!
Overall, I'm a big fan of Goblin Psychic, but more so once it gets affliction and especially once it gets Silence. Lower level Psychics definitely aren't bad either, but 6 Mana can be a lot to give up, especially in the lower leagues where your battles are routinely lower mana and you're not getting the extra abilities.
How To Get Yours
Goblin Psychics can be found in packs or for sale or rent in the market. At the time of writing, a BCX 1 card can be purchased for around $4. There are some cheaper deals out there if you're looking for a higher BCX, but they're starting to become more limited.
