The earth element is one filled with monsters with a wide variety of incredible stats. To be specific, the melee attack monsters belonging to this element are super impressive. Their presence alone in battle can massively boost anyone's advantage.
There are so many melee attack cards in splinterlands, but this time, I will be presenting the ones of the earth element that have the capabilities of winning you battles with little effort. You might take note of them and use them in battle yourself.
Terraceous Hulk
This is a ferocious monster with brute strength. Able and willing to smash enemy units to bits. It has an incredible melee attack power of 4. With this kind of attack power, it can eliminate enemy units in just few strikes. It has 6 armors and a health of 9. So of course, it will be a pretty difficult monster to eliminate, which is why it is the perfect tank. Seeing how huge and heavy this monster is, it is expected that it will be slow, and that is exactly the case as it has a speed of 1. This card costs 11 mana.
At level 1, it has the taunt ability, making all enemy units to target it. It also has the void armor ability which protects its health because magic attacks will have to hit its armor before the health would be affected. By level 3, it adds the Demoralize ability, letting it reduce the melee attack of all enemy monsters by 1.
Warborn Chieftain
This mean monster has a massive melee attack power of 4. Enough to wreak havoc for the opponent. It also has a health of 6, which is good enough. This monster has a pretty impressive speed of 3. The mana cost for this card is 7 mana.
At level 1, Warborn Chieftain has the phase ability, which means melee attacks on it can miss. It also has the dispel ability at this level, hence, when it hits an enemy unit, it clears away all the positive status effect on the unit. At level 2, it adds the shield ability, which reduces the damage it suffers from melee and ranged attacks by half.
By level 3, it adds the Demoralize ability. At level 4, it gets the stun ability, so when it attacks a target, there's a fifty percent chance that the unit will skip its next turn.
Grund
It has a melee attack power of 3, which is also huge. It has an incredible health of 10. This guarantees it longevity in battle. It also has a moderate speed of 3. This card costs 10 mana, and deservedly so.
At level 1, Grund has the double strike ability, letting it attack twice every round.
By level 4, it adds the trample ability. So when it eliminates a target with melee attack, it carries out another melee attack on the next monster on the enemy team.
At level 6, it gets the cripple ability, so its target loses 1 max health whenever it attacks.
