Namaste to all the Residents of Splinterlands!🙏
**This week's Community Engagement Challenge is very unique and fun. We'll have to dive deep into the lore and share our creative take on the stories. By the way, let me tell you that I did not even know that there is such a huge library called lore.splinterlands.com where you can read the entire history of this rich, vast and deep splinterlands world.
Today I will tell you some creative things about the Gobson family mainly because Gobson Bomber is one of my favourite cards in the neutral element.
If you have watched the Harry Potter movie series and remember Dobby, you can guess a lot about Gobsons. However, in Splinterlands, their clan is described as different but considering their characteristics and culture they seem to be quite similar. Since I'm new to Splinterlands myself as far as I know they are neutral and have no personal ties to any element of the Splinterlands world. This is my creative story that right from the beginning this family understood that by being with any element they would not get the respect and importance they deserved and they would never be able to do something big and better for themselves and their loved ones. So thinking selfishly, they focused on colonizing their city and fulfilling their interests. The family's underground network facilitates the flow of smuggling and intelligence throughout the Broken Lands and surrounding regions - which is sold to the highest bidder. Gobson's are known for their organized criminal activities and strict hierarchical structure with a clear chain of command. The Gobson Family began its colonization of Praetoria shortly after the fall of the Wizards’ Veil, and over time they became increasingly influential in the Splinterlands world. This family is characterized by cunning, patience and a strong sense of survival. Loyalty is valued above all else just like Dobby. They may look like delicate dwarfs, but they can be very dangerous.
At first glance, they may look a little slow and less deadly to you, but their attacks often bring even the biggest monsters and magicians to their knees.
To understand this, you can take the example of Gobson Bomber. At first glance, its power, speed and health don't seem to be anything special and on top of that, it falls asleep in every second round, but when it wakes up after being fully charged and attacks, its impact is three times more than its attacking power. Additionally, its camouflage ability protects it from direct attacks unless it is in the first position.
All you have to do is trust them and send them to the battlefield with a great strategy. Gobson Bomber has never disappointed me to date, I have lost a few battles having him in my team but its ability to fight and cause damage to the enemy always amazes me. Another great thing is that this is a neutral card which means apart from certain rulesets, it can be used with other elements in almost any battle. I wouldn't call it the best Gobson since I'm new to Splinterlands myself and have yet to meet many members of this family, but it is an amazing card, without a doubt.
I hope you enjoyed this mixed dish of Splinterlands history and my creative story! 😊🙏
