Prelude
Good day to all, how are all of you doing? The quest for more Rebellion Soul Bound reward card continues as we are all accumulating more Glint as we battle so that we can get more of the reward cards. Reward cards might cost you nothing when they are in circulation when all you need is just to be active to get more Glint for a chance to obtain them, sometimes certain cards are just elusive and makes it hard for you when you pull your loot chest, especially those legendary ones which are just so hard to get even a copy of it. Just like for me, the Drybone Raider was just so elusive and I had to use a legendary draw when it was almost the end of the Chaos Legion Soul Bound reward card era, hoping to get a copy of it and thankfully it appeared. So today, I will want to share a battle that is involving this card, which I had been wanting to get hold of when Chaos Legion Soul Bound reward cards are active.
Drybone Raider
Many of us have a huge collection of various coloured splinter card. But when it comes to a neutral ruleset, we tend to struggle a little because either we are having an incomplete lineup or just do not have the right cards to make a proper lineup to be competitive enough. So back then when Chaos Legion Soul Bound reward card era, one particular neutral card stood up, which was the Drybone Raider. Didn't manage to get it early but glad to be able finally obtain it from Legendary chest before the set gets rotated out.
And this is how Drybone Raider look like on stats on it's various levels:
This card amazes me at level 1 and in today's sharing, I will be sharing how glad I am having such a card in my collection. So let's get right on to the sharing.

Mana Limit: 32
Selection Analysis
Honestly, whenever I see Shades of Gray, I do not really like it because I do not have the versatility like normal Splinters where I can tinker around and have many variants of lineup. But I felt a little different now that I have Drybone Raider in my collection.
Let's discuss about my selection first. With the close range, I believe this will be one of the best ruleset for Drybone Raider to shine. So for me, I planted Venari Marksrat to trigger Martyr to make Drybone Raider stronger. The lineup is supported by cards like Magi of Chaos for additional magic attacks, Chaos Agent as a padding, Scavo Hireling to consistently renew the armour of Drybone Raider and last a Uraeus to create some havoc from the back of the lineup with the sneak attack.
On my opponent end, I am fighting a very strong lineup where my opponent has mostly levelled up cards in the form of Dumacke Orc as tank with shield and retaliate. A Marksrat as well followed by Tatiana Blayde which will be a beast if not contained properly. This card possess close range by itself and will be scarier as it kills due to Blood Lust. She is followed by Uraeus, higher level than mine and equipped with poison, and lastly a higher level supply runner with swiftness.
So now, I am facing a very much evolved deck than mine with very strong cards, can Drybone Raider overcome the odds when supported by an equally capable backline? Let's get right on to the battle itself.
Round by Round Synopsis
Round 1 - Game on. My Marksrat got killed and trigged Drybone Barbarian to boost in stats. Magi of Chaos manage to zap Dumacke Orc but my Uraeus was poisoned and expected to fall next turn.
Round 2 - Uraeus got poisoned to death at the start or the round. Things move real fast when my side take out Venari Marksrat and now it will be Drybone Barbarian versus Tatiana Blayde. Uraeus from my opponent side took out Scavo Hireling, this pesky snake is a problem to me.
Round 3 - Drybone Raider endured the damage of Tatiana Blaye and hit back at it, clearing it from the battlefield while severely damaging Uraeus and subsequently Magi of Chaos zap Uraeus to death. What await us is a sitting duck in the form of Supply Runner.
Round 4 and 5, While Supply Runner manage to clear off my Drybone Raider, Magi of Chaos was there to pick up the pieces and kill Supply Runner off to secure the win!
Battle Summary
What an exciting battle where I came up against a very well levelled opponent with very strong cards. While some of my cards are not as high levelled, the presence of Drybone Raider allowed the possibility of turning the tides against a strong opponent whom even fielded a very strong Gladius card. It manage to hold the front and do plenty of damage to allow the team to breeze through and collect the win!
Wrap Up
I am really thankful to have Drybone Raider in my collection. A really formidable card that does a whole deal of damage. Not only does it come with 2 kinds of attack, it is also equipped with double strike which allows it to strike 4 times for the right ruleset. Simply amazing neutral card that stands out. If you have yet to have a copy of it, do consider picking one up from the market for about 4 dollar as there are people whom unlocked it and selling them in the market.
