Prelude
Good day to all, how are all of you doing? Hope all of you are doing good. I am back again to do another battle sharing with the community on some special and memorable matches that I encounter as I play Splinterlands. Today's sharing will be on putting up a lineup that is almost fully filled up by Soul Bound rewards cards. Will they do well in matchup or I am asking for trouble by doing this.
Will it work? Playing with fire?
I think many people would be thinking, this guy must be crazy. It might upgrade the lineup capability if we just use 1 or 2 of them in the match, but to put up a match that is almost everything Soul Bound reward cards, it does look like I am just trolling someone. But rest assured I am not trolling, I did put in a lot of thought into putting up the lineup before hitting the submit button.
Some caveat, my Chaos Legion summoner level is about the same as the Chaos Legion Soul Bound Reward summoner, hence I used the normal summoner while I also added a single Chaos Legion normal card to the lineup. Otherwise, everything else is part of either the Chaos Legion or the Rebellion Soul Bound Reward card set.
These Soul Bound reward cards are actually very strong cards so if possible one should continuously use the earn Glint to open the reward chest and get these cards into your collection. For those whom missed out on the Chaos Legion ones, there are a number of them available in the market. Do check them out while they are still up for grabs.
So without further ado, let's get right on to the battle sharing proper.

Selection Analysis
I am really crazy enough to plan a lineup with effectively Soul Bound Reward cards other than Summoner and also one of the cards in the lineup. Some might argue that Soul Bound Reward cards are just lineup boosters and cannot form a lineup on their own, but to me, many of these card have really good abilities and should be put into good use altogether and face opponents even if it is filled up really strong non Soul Bound Reward cards.
Let's start with my side. Since this is a match without magic, it gave me the reason to not use Oshannus and put on another of my recent favourite card, Commander Slade. This card is really a beast and the nemesis to all Melee attackers as the enfeeble just reduces the melee attack of your opponent as it hits with each strike. It also has the dodge which makes it good to hit others but dodging from others. I almost forget, I had a Venari Marskrat right at the front whose role is to get killed and give Commander Slade a boost, making it even harder to get hit while striking even harder. Next after Slade is Tide Biter which is really good for planting at 2nd position, low mana and decent attack, really a good value which can be even higher if further levelled up to get reflection shield. Up next is Razorhound which gives Strengthen to the lineup for 1 more health. Meerdali Guardian follows for tank heal to make Slade last longer, whom is not a Soul Bound card but this should be generally easy access to all. Lastly in the backline will be Swamp Spitter with the repair ability to also help boost Slade's survivability. A lineup with loads of considerations and ability loading.
Opponent fielded a Lvl 2 Possibilus with Marksrat at the front for Martyr. Next will be 2 hard hitters in the form of Diemonshark and also Coastal Sentry. This two have fantastic stats and will definitely be the damage output giver from my opponent side. Last on opponent lineup is Wave Brood that is tasked to soak up all the damage by taunting it from the start. Key is to divert attacks from attackers and clear off bit by bit through trampling.
2 different lineup with 2 very different strategies, let's see how my majority Soul Bound reward lineup fare.
Round by Round Synopsis
Round 1 - Rare occasion, a totally peaceful first round with no casualties. Only some attacks flying towards the taunt otherwise not much action for this round. Onto the next.
Round 2 - Kinda slow start and a lttle too slow for me that there is really no action. It is weird that it is so difficult for Marksrat to get killed. But one thing for sure, opponent Wave Brood is getting really low in health and time for some action.
Round 3 - Finally, Wave Brood is taken out and time to meet opponent face to face. And somehow Marksrat is still suriviving.
Round 4 - Things are moving real slow as now opponent's Marksrat finally fell and Diemonshark gets the boost. Now things are really getting heated up.
Round 5 - Close to no action again this round as my Marksrat fell and boosted Slade whom manage to dodge some attacks.
Round 6 and 7 - This 2 rounds mainly focus on taking out Diemonshark which the lineup easily did so with Razorhound landing the kill and Slade doing good dodging and fending off the big attacks.
Round 8, we made quick work in wrecking Coastal Sentry and secure the victory after being Swamp Spitter landed the final blow. A slow game comes to an end.
Battle Summary
Wow what a match. While the match went up slow, slowly but surely, my Soul Bound lineup did their work and thin down the lineup of my opponent. Each of the cards have their own strong abilities that is being brought to the lineup to boost each other up and ensuring survivability. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how I overcome a strong deck that featured a level 2 Possibilus which by default is already a tough card to face.
Wrap Up
The recent Soul Bound Reward cards really complement those from the previous set and is able to form a viable lineup that can even stand up to the test of stronger lineups. Do remember to open your chest through glint and see how these cards transform your lineup and gameplay.
