Shield, Void, and Armor Buffs: Poison damage is unaffected by these, so it remains consistent despite defensive buffs.
My favorite card with Poison:
This card is my favorite for this ability since it is a very economical card, even though it only gets this ability at level 10, it is still very profitable due to the fact that this ability is very strong.
- Equalizer:
- Equalizer matches all units to the highest health on the battlefield. Poison can be used to undermine healing strategies in this ruleset, helping take down units with increased health.
Holy Protection:
- With Divine Shield active, Poison is still effective, bypassing the shield and allowing poison damage to continue weakening the unit.
Camouflage:
- Camouflage allows your poison-wielding unit to avoid direct attacks, increasing its survival while dealing ongoing poison damage.
Scavenger:
- Units with Scavenger gain +1 max health each time any unit dies. By using poison, you can expedite enemy deaths and bolster your Scavenger’s health in the process.
- Waka Spiritblade:
Waka Spiritblade grants Poison to all friendly units, allowing you to poison multiple enemies and create widespread damage. Ideal with attack styles like Sneak, Snipe, Opportunity, or Scattershot for maximum reach across enemy lines.
- Underboss Fabino (Rebellion Set):
With Underboss Fabino, players can apply a +2 melee attack boost or directly poison a selected enemy unit with 100% accuracy (unless the target has immunity), giving flexibility in choosing between increased melee power or strategic poison application.
- Cryptic (Rebellion Set):
Airdropped as part of the Rebellion set, Cryptic has powerful effects, including -1 speed and Blind on opponents, lowering their accuracy by 15%. Additionally, Cryptic allows players to grant either Retaliate and Enfeeble or Poison and Expose to two units, letting you choose the most effective debuff for the situation.
Some notable Units with Poison (based on level):
- Dr. Blight (Level 2)
- Uraeus (Level 4)
- Venari Bonesmith (Level 4)
- Soul Strangler (Level 8)
