Triage is one of the best skills for non tank positions because it heals them, this small heal could make the difference in a battle.
Triage
Effect: Each round, restores 1/3 of the max health (rounded down) to the backline ally that has taken the most damage.
This ability is vital for keeping non-tank units alive, particularly in matches where backline attackers are prevalent.
Best cards that have Triage
These are the most valued cards in terms of price, as a skill on the market, the 6 cards are very strong to have in our deck.
Remarkable Interactions
Multiple Triage Units:
You can stack several Triage abilities to heal a single backline Unit.
This is especially effective when combined with Taunt to direct enemy attacks toward a durable unit in the backline.
Cleanse Synergy:
- Use Cleanse Rearguard to remove negative effects like Affliction, ensuring your backline units can heal fully.
Taunt Consideration:
- Units with Taunt tend to take the most damage, even in the backline. However, if Afflicted, healing from Triage will fail but still attempt to target the Taunt Unit.
Notable Ruleset Synergies:
Noxious Fumes:
All Units take poison damage each round.
Triage keeps backline Units alive longer, especially when paired with Cleanse.
Target Practice:
All ranged and magic Units gain Snipe, focusing on midline Units.
Protect your Triage Unit to ensure it can heal effectively.
Super Sneak:
All melee Units target the last position.
A high-health backline Unit with Triage ensures survival and extended damage output.
Notable Summoners with Triage
Eternal Tofu (Rebellion Set):
Grants +2 health, Snare, and Thorns to all friendly Units.
Offers flexibility by allowing you to grant Triage and Scavenger to a single Unit.
Best Use: In matches where sustained healing is critical, or to counter Sneak attackers.
Chanseus the Great:
A Wild Format Summoner that provides Repair, Triage, and Resurrect.
Ideal for armor-heavy teams, particularly against magic damage when paired with Void or Void Armor.
Lily Shieldpaw:
Offers +1 health, Triage, and Camouflage to all friendly Units.
Camouflage prevents targeting, but beware of rulesets like Aimless, as Units with Scattershot can still hit Camouflaged Units.
My favorite card with Triage:
Kelp Initiate is one of my favorite cards because it has low mana usage, good health, and also has the ability Triage, so this card fits right into low mana battles as a tank or 2nd position..
Notable Units with Triage
- Spirit Hoarder (Level 1): A versatile Neutral Unit that fits into any team composition.
- Mermaid Healer (Level 1): A strong addition to Water teams, providing healing and utility.
- Queen Mycelia (Level 3): Earth Unit with Triage and Protect, granting additional
armor to all friendly Units.
- Angelic Mandarin (Level 4): A Water Unit with Triage, particularly effective in sustained healing strategies.
