Rise of the Common: In this war, only Rare and Common cards are permitted to be used in actual combat. This challenge can be rather stressful as it requires you to maximize your common cards.
It is not possible to employ legendary and epic cards, despite the fact they are quite powerful. Make sure you have both common and rare cards in your control if you came upon his battle rule set. I embark on an adventure battle in Silver League on a Modern Format following a week of working and battling. Since only modern type cards are allowed in this competition, I essentially utilized chaos cards for this challenge, and my opponent is doing the same.

My opponent is Spicas-Bro from Praetorians Guild.

The rules of the combat that I have come across with Spicas-Bro are as follows: the initial battle condition is taking sides, which implies that none of us are allowed to use the neutral advantage cards. We are only allowed to utilize one element at a time since Neutral Cards are banned, however if you have a dragon summoner, you may still summon a dragon element and select which element to partner with. The next most exhausting battle rule is called "Rise of the Commons," but it's the primary challenge in Battle Mage Secrets, so I must overcome it to defeat it. The last rule is called "Broken Arrows," which essentially forbids using ranged attacks on the battlefield. It's harder to combat with these specific rules because many cards are disallowed; thus, it's up to me to decide how to employ my strategy to overwhelm my opponent.

57 mana is a significant cost for this challenge because some of the Common Cards have very little mana. However, there are certain cards with righteous mana cost, particularly in my deck, such Drybone Barbarian, which requires 9 mana to summon, and Shield Bearer, which requires 8 mana. Earth is the only element prohibited from participating in this challenge, whereas many other elements are open.

Battle Mage Secret Strategy

Diemonshark against Drybone Barbarian is a strong matchup for first position battle set-up.

Early Match up

image.png

Because Drybone Barbarian has greater health, rage, and retaliation abilities, I purposefully selected him as my tanker on this group. I wanted to make sure I were able to use Rage and Retaliation throughout the early stages of engagements. I have Imperial Knight in my second position to protect the 2nd position for dying quickly against explosive weaponry fatal blows. Since Imperial Knight has strong perseverance, I may use it to tank for my squad in the event that Drybone Barbarian is overthrown right away. It's important to note that I added more defence from my first position, using its ShieldBearer taunting ability to lessen the likelihood of lethal damage from my Drybone Barbarian positioning. My strongest assault on this challenge is the Trio Wizardry, and I think Captain Katie's late-game strength will give the Blood Lust an advantage! Time Mage Slow ability weaken the speed of my opponent.

Mid-Game Encounter

image.png

My opponent destroyed my Drybone Barbarian after several rounds of combat, but I'm glad I was able to contribute and take the Imperial Knight's place as the next tanker in the mid-game clash.

Even the Shield Bearer has been defeated. My opponent's attack armor and speed are quite impressive, which is how he was able to break through in the middle of the fight. But I still have Captain Katie, my Ace card, who has four magic damages and is still prepared for more blood to shed.

End Game

image.png

As the fight draws to a very close ending, my opponent is powerless against the damage done by my Captain Katie and my Imperial Knight. My Drybone Barbarian & Shield Bearer was the lone monster to lose the battle. These two monster cards are effective and perform their intended function, which aids me in punishing my opponent and winning this challenge in the late game.

Final Result

Good game, Spicas-Bro.! It was a fantastic battle and experience. I hope we can combat each other again in a future competition.

It was a rather unique tactic, and I was able to carry it out and get the better of him.
