Battle Rule Sets
Are you Entertained is a rule that allows us to use Gladiator cards, and Melee Mayhem is the primary objective of this match, giving our creatures the ability to attack when positioned anywhere on the battlefield. No legendary means that I cannot summon cards that are part of the legendary ground level, while Are you Entertained is a rule that is extremely dangerous to play because this gladiator card is quite pretty strong compared to other normal cards that I play.
Mylor Crawling Versus Helios Matriach
Tournament Battle is quite challenging to play with, As an example, in this particular match, I desperately want to use Mylor Crawling, the best character summoner in the Splinterlands in my humble viewpoint, to counterdefense against a melee attack from my opponent by the ability of thorns, but she is using Helios Matriarch, a summoner that gives all of her allied monsters one speed and allows her to summon one more gladiator card, while I can only rely on the ruleset that allows me to use one Gladiator Card.
I thought he was going all-in with two gold foil gladiator cards, but when I looked at how our cards were positioned, I only saw one of them being used. Instead, he summoned Palidon Rakk with blood lust, while I was able to call upon Katrelba Gobson for the power of Sneak Attack with Blood Lust.
The SoulBound Summoner is a particularly mana-intensive summoner because it may take up to six digits of your mana. Mylor Crawling is only 3 mana cost, so I can play and put more cards on the field maximizing more monsters to play against him. Since the rule set states that we could only play with a 32-mana cap, it is obvious that he is draining too much mana by using Helios Matriach. The advantage I saw to him is that he can summon combinations with another element since her summoner is a rare Dragon aspect.
Early Match up
I make an effort to comprehend what my opponent is doing. I believe that he wants to increase the power of his Palidon Rakk because of its blood lust, which could cause harmful and devastating damage to my cards. Until recently, however, he has been unaware of the existence of Mylor Crawling, which can mitigate massive blow damage with my defense mechanism of thorns. Every physical damage that has been health is also harmful to melee attackers.
In this challenge, my Martyr Tank is Fungus Flinger, and my opponent uses the same tank as me. He wants to buff Palidon Rakk's blood lust card, and from what I can tell from his deck, he also has a healer and sneak attacker. However, Chaos Magic and Goblin Psyhic deal the majority of his magic damage.
I have one sustain healing and tank: Mycelic Slipspawn and Psychic Goblin, and Fungus Flinger serves as my sacrificial lamb. Psychic Goblin is only present in this game to support Mycelic Slipspawn's taunting abilities; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to control which monster would pass away quickly. I also acknowledge that killing my first position tanker will ensure a power boost for Mycelic Slipspawn.
Mid-Game Encounter
on the round 2, our Fungus Flingeer succumbed as I expected, we both buff our tank, as you can see in the image, Palidon Rakk has the health of 10 while i have only 3 from my Mycelic Slipspawn, but i keep on attacking my opponent back line, I have this Katrelba Gobson who sneak my opponent its backline, I already smashed Goblin Thief on the back, so my distant attacker acid shooter is now safe from enemies to sneak attackers. I nearly forgot to mention that my Katrelba Gobson's killing blow is beneficial since it deals damage and health to every monster that causes death, and the double strike is a fantastic hidden weapon that might pleasantly surprise my opponent's rear-line defense. it is superb to watch Katrelba Gobson's transformation from 2 damage to an extra 1 damage, making it 3 fatal physical damage, and adding 1 more speed, making it more nimble and swift to move and strike. My adversary has no debuff spell to stop my Katrelba Gobson's Blood Lust!
End Game
As the fight went on, I was able to easily eliminate my adversaries, Chaos Magi and Goblin Psychic, who may have made my Katrelba Gobson stronger and more formidable and it provided greater abilities because of the blood lust. In other words, when I was able to defeat two monsters in 1 consecutive attack the damage from 4 speed to 6 speed. The two monsters that were slain by my card the two corpses activated bloodlust, making the monster stronger and adding additional damage to make it 5, thus if the character strikes with a double strike, the damage would likely total 10 overall.
I made a brief animation demonstrating how the double strike assault and Blood Lust make my Katrelba Gobson a stronger weapon. If you don't have any counterattacks from your backlines and Katrelba Gobson strikes out in the open field, all of your monsters in the backline will be incrementally eliminated. This monster shows little empathy while still being effective on the battlefield. It's a good thing that I was able to adjust and be ready to protect my front line since my opponent is trying to eliminate me with the help of Palidok Rakk and its bloodlust powers. However, my approach prevailed in this battle since my adversary was caught off guard and defeated by my excellent stealth abilities.
I just want to express my gratitude to my opponent for putting up a good fight against me. Although I won this time, I still respect your tactics and strategies used to counteract my approaches.
Prior to wrapping up this blog, I also wanted to say thank you to Butters for providing me the chance to win the duck race from Splinterlands TV on his scheduled broadcast. I appreciate you giving me this great card from Riftwatcher. I am fortunate to have received it while creating and thinking about my blog.
