Ambassadors would earn a commission when someone clicked their link and made a purchase, such as a Spellbook, which unlocks a lifetime account upgrade and allows users to explore the game mechanics fully.

Think of the Ambassador Program as the next evolution of the old affiliate system—completely reimagined to give players better opportunities to engage and earn. It’s not just about getting people to sign up, it’s about creating meaningful connections and guiding new players as they embark on their Splinterlands journey.
Overview Ambassador Program
The new Ambassador Program builds on the foundations of the previous affiliate system. Introducing new features and rewards aimed at recognizing and rewarding active community builders for new players. Highlights include:
Referrals Reset: All past referrals have been cleared or reset for a fresh start.
Earnings Structure: Ambassadors earn 5% of their referrals' end-of-season Glint, capped at 100% of their Glint for that season.
Spellbook Bonus: Both the ambassador and their referral earn 500 Credits when the referral purchases a Spellbook.
Gold Tier Rewards: Achieve Gold Tier status by referring 10 users who each spend $100 or more on Splinterlands purchases, including packs, rentals, and secondary market items.
It’s about bringing new players into the game through your referral, creating a mutually beneficial connection that enhances communication, guides new players on how to play more possible strategies, and coaches them until they become pros. This strengthens relationships, provides earning opportunities, and makes the game more interactive and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Follow the Rules
Stick to the program’s terms of service. Self-referrals or using multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages are strictly prohibited. Splinterlands has systems to detect and ban such activities, ensuring fairness for everyone. The SPL was able to scan the leaderboard and detect one individual who was referring to themselves which then the individual was banned in this referral system together with its accounts. So don't try to violate the rules or you will face the same consequences.

- Select the icon settings and select Ambassador Status. This is where you see a all status such as your referral link, Tier Status, and players who use your referral link recognition for players who actively recruit, support, and guide new members, earning rewards while growing and strengthening the community.
- Select the Copy Icon of your referral link and then share it with all your friends, family, or new players on social media.
