Good day, everyone in the SplinterLands community. There are four nights left for the Christmas holiday. It's a time to be grateful for what we have, show generosity to others, and make memories that will bring us joy for years to come. Today, I will be sharing an interesting battle between River Nymph and Doctor Blight. Both are great support with have certain weaknesses.
This legendary card is pretty useful in every battle especially one that requires only a low mana cap battle and rule sets like Wands Out and Reverse Speed. It's a very versatile card since this is a neutral card it can be used in every element combo. This can be a support-magic dealer of the team because of its useful abilities Affliction which prevents enemy healing, Poison 50% chance hit and inflicts damage over time regardless of the enemy's health target, Camouflage cannot be targeted directly unless it's in the first position, Weaken reduces the health of all enemy monsters by 1, and Scavenger gains health whenever any monster dies. Again as a neutral monster, Doctor Blight can fit into almost any lineup regardless of splinter restrictions.
A rare card in water element that can attack as a support-magic dealer of the team. It has some useful abilities, The first is Cleanse removes negative effects from the front-line monster like poison and affliction, the second is Amplify which can damage such magic reflect, retaliate, thorns, and return fire, and lastly Swiftness Boosts the speed of all allied monsters by 1. Using River Nymph is useful with the need for a combination of cleansing, speed boosting, or removing negative effects in synergy with a Water splinter lineup. Note that in the water element, this is a higher chance of evading all attacks because of the speed stats difference.

This is easy to plan and deploy cards since the rule set given are Wands Out and Silenced Summoners. Only well-planned deciding card abilities of the combo utilizing with magic only battle. We both use a dragon element with a water element combination. Dragon element is a wise choice in this rule set Silenced Summoner since we can broaden our strategy based on the cards that we have. Both of us use Void Dragonin the first position that will act as a tank because of stats 9 health, 5 speed, and 2 magic damage with abilities which first are Flying that are good counter such as Earthquake rule set and high chance of 25% evading, second is Void reduces magic damage by 50% less damage which allowing it to counter magic-heavy lineups effectively, and lastly Phase the as dodge ability that can miss magic attacks by chance. Its combination of durability, evasion, and adaptability makes Void Dragon a formidable force in any match.
The opponent has the advantage of speed and cleanse of River Nymp which can counter my afflicting Poison ability to the target while my lineup strategy uses Doctor Blight that are highly reliant on its applying poison and antiheal. I might lose in this battle because of the speed difference that has a high chance of evading magic attacks but let's see in battle if my Doctor Blight would be able to inflict poison.
I'm lucky that my Doctor Blight was able to inflict poison to target Void Dragon despite many missed attacks. Notice that River Nymph can't do anything on that round because River Nymph is the second to the last attacker of this match based on speed.
Despite Doctor Blight's speed disadvantage, it secured victory by successfully applying poison before River Nymph could use Cleanse in that round.
Even the slowest strike can outpace a cleanse when timed just right
A Big Thanks! for supporting me, being here, and coming this far. I'm hoping this strategy can assist you with some of your battles.
