Good day, everyone in the SplinterLands community. This day I will share another interesting battle in the rule set given Odds Ones Out and Earthquake. Flying ability units are a wise choice to deploy for Earthquake Rule Set as it negates the 2 melee damage dealt to non-flying units each round ends. It is where the Pelacor Mercenary shines in this battle if the earth element is active, with its Flying ability, high health, self-sustain through Heal, and decent melee damage, Pelacor Mercenary executes well as a durable frontline tank that can outlast opponents while benefiting from the synergy of the Earth element’s supportive abilities.
The Pelacor Mercenary has three powerful abilities: Flying, Heal, and Retaliate. These abilities, paired with solid stats of 3 melee damage, 4 speed, 11 health, and 1 armor, make it a versatile and durable choice in battle. The only counter for this unit is if the opponent uses Snare to disable my Flying ability and Affliction ability which can disable my Heal ability.

Since the given rule sets are Odds One's Out, Deflection Field, and Earthquake with a 14-mana cap and an inactive fire element, choosing the right element is important in this battle. In this case, I want to dominate the opponent in speed, so Quix the Devious is a great combo with the dragon and earth elements. My line-up is pretty simple utilizing only Pelacor Mercenary as the main damage and Fungus Flinger to act as support. Fungus Flinger is what I deploy because of its ability Martyr, Blind, and Affliction. Both Martyr and Affliction are the perfect synergy to boost my Pelacor Mercenary once this Fungus Flinger is executed it will trigger Martyr's ability increasing Pelacor Mercenary all stats by 1.
The opponent also uses Quix, the Devious summoner with a combination of Dragon and Water elements. The lineup of the opponent is a kind of hybrid attack since it deploys Void Dragon and Pelacor Bandit which are great line-ups the Void Dragon will act as a tank in first position and Pelacor Bandit will attack my backline which is Fungus Flinger.
The opponent had the upper hand in speed and damage, but their lineup lacked counter abilities such as Affliction to disable healing or Snare to neutralize flying units. This allowed my boosted Pelacor Mercenary to endure longer than their team, thanks to its healing ability and solid durability.
As the battle unfolded, my Fungus Flinger successfully enhanced Pelacor Mercenary, increasing its damage output and solidifying its dominance. Ultimately, I secured victory due to the absence of counter abilities and overpowered cards in the opponent’s lineup.
A Big Thanks! for supporting me, being here, and coming this far. I'm hoping this strategy can assist you with some of your battles.
