@ecency-star released a prompt asking us to talk about some places we'd like to/ recommend people to visit this summer.

Brittas Bay
Brittas is a beach surrounded by cliffs, which help to block nearly all wind, bar the cool breeze that may come from the direction of the sea.
On the right day it can be the perfect place to chill out for hours on end; the sand is really nice, it is well maintained and cleaned, there are nearby shops, vendors to buy food and stuff off, if you get board of the beach there are nice dunes; both grassy, and sandy, and there are also rocky cliff tops you can walk along. On top of that, the water is clear, and there are many caves that you can explore, especially when the tide is low.
In general, it's a really nice place to relax and take in the hot weather. The only downside is the sheer amount of people who go here, and who make it hard to find a decent spot, unless you get there super early.

I've shot a few music videos out here, using it as a location. The footage always turns out impressive when shooting there, because, realistically, it could be anywhere to the untrained eye.
Along the coast there are multiple beaches just like this, and all in fairly close proximity to one another.
As a child, we'd spend many long summer days out there, and as we got older, we would camp and drink out there, and a little bit older still, we'd bring BBQ's for beach side picnics, and nice days hanging out, and even older still, I'll be taking Kaleb out there; and the cycle continues.
It's Been Awhile
Last summer was wet and miserable, so I only went out there to walk the dog on less rainy days, of which there weren't many, but it'll be really nice to get the right day to go out and have some fun.
Kaleb has swimming clothes, beach shoes, and plenty of toys to bring along to the beach, all we need now is a good day to get out there, and a day where me and Aimee are both off together.
Weekends are kind of a write-off, so during the week may be our best bet.
