El Salto El Sapo es una caída de agua que se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Canaima, en el municipio Gran Sabana del Estado Bolívar, Venezuela, sus aguas provienen del Rio Carrao y puedes acceder a este Salto en Curiara por la Laguna de Canaima y luego realizando senderismo hasta llegar a este hermoso lugar.
En mi caso, como les comente en mis post anteriores, tuve la oportunidad de realizar un recorrido por la Laguna de Canaima, donde pasamos por el Salto El Hacha y luego de allí nos dirigimos hacia el Salto El Sapo, para lo cual llegamos a una zona donde bajamos de la Curiara y estaban personas allí del lugar vendiendo pulseras, collares, llaveros, entre otras cosas, el guía se ofreció a pagar por nosotros y al llegar a tierra le pagamos a él.. debido a que para ir a este recorrido no se recomienda llevar efectivo ni nada que se pueda mojar-dañar, salvo que lleves en una bolsa ziploc, para ir a este salto también recomiendan llevar medias para evitar resbalarse durante el recorrido en la zonas rocosas. Estando en este lugar debemos realizar senderismo de unos 20 minutos aproximadamente, el camino es de tierra y bosque hasta llegar al Salto, donde comienza la zona rocosa y es necesario colocarse las medias para pasar dentro de este Salto.
El Salto el Sapo, tiene la particularidad que puedes pasar dentro de él y observar la espectacular cortina de agua que cae de este salto mientras vas realizando el recorrido, se debe ir con ropa de baño o ropa cómoda que estés dispuesto a mojar porque en este punto durante todo el recorrido puedes sentir el agua cayendo encima de ti en unos lugares mas que otros y sales de allí completamente mojado, el recorrido lo realizas por dentro tomados de una cuerda y caminando poco a poco con medias puestas.
La vista de este Salto es sencillamente espectacular, poder observar la cortina de agua caer, el sonido que produce es realmente único, para mi fue maravilloso poder disfrutar de esta belleza natural que no tiene comparación.

The Salto El Sapo is a waterfall located in the Canaima National Park, in the Gran Sabana municipality of Bolivar State, Venezuela, its waters come from the Carrao River and you can access this waterfall in Curiara by the Canaima Lagoon and then hiking to reach this beautiful place.
In my case, as I told you in my previous posts, I had the opportunity to make a tour of the Canaima Lagoon, where we went through the Salto El Hacha and then from there, we went to the Salto El Sapo, for which we reached an area where we went down the Curiara and there were people there selling bracelets, necklaces, key chains, among other things, the guide offered to pay for us and when we got to land we paid him. . because to go to this tour is not recommended to carry cash or anything that can get wet-damaged, unless you carry in a Ziploc bag, to go to this jump also recommend wearing socks to avoid slipping during the tour in the rocky areas. Being in this place we must hike for about 20 minutes approximately, the road is dirt and forest until you reach the waterfall, where the rocky area begins and it is necessary to put on socks to pass inside this waterfall.
The Salto el Sapo has a particularity that you can pass inside it and observe the spectacular curtain of water that falls from this jump while you are doing the tour, you should go in bathing suits or comfortable clothes that you are willing to get wet because at this point throughout the tour you can feel the water falling on you in some places more than others and you get out of there completely wet, the tour is done inside taken from a rope and walking slowly with socks on.
The view of this waterfall is simply spectacular, to be able to observe the curtain of water falling, and the sound it produces is unique, for me it was wonderful to enjoy this natural beauty that has no comparison.
