Desarrollando mi primer corto Audiovisual / Developing my first Audiovisual short film

en el post de hoy quiero mostrarles algo en lo que estoy trabajando actualmente, estoy estudiando Artes Audiovisuales y para la materia de "Guion Audiovisual" tengo que preparar una escena de 1 minuto para luego tratar de producirla.

¡Y les quiero mostrar la idea que tuve, y comentarles del cómo nace, a ver si así puedo obtener feedback, sobre mi idea, y ojalá les inspire alguna idea a uds!

in today's post I want to show you something I'm currently working on. I'm currently studying Audiovisual Arts and for the subject "Audiovisual Script" I have to prepare a 1 minute scene and then try to produce it.

And I want to show you the idea I had, and tell you how it was born, to see if I can get feedback on my idea, and hopefully inspire you!

Concepto Generador y referencias

Para empezar, detrás de la idea generadora está el hecho de que quería hacer un corto, en el que al momento de producirlo, no tuviera que tener en cuenta tantas cosas, porque se puede complicar mucho si tienes actores, varias locaciones, etc. Así que empecé a trabajar en una especie de monólogo, o soliloquio, que me ayudara a concentrarme más en el material y no en las variables que puedan surgir.

De estas consideraciones empecé a trabajar en un guion que tratara de una reflexión personal, una conversación uno a uno con mi inconsciente y mis referencias principales son Car Radio de twenty one Pilots, una canción cuya letra habla de como una persona que acaba de perder su escape principal para evitar hablar consigo mismo (su radio del carro), tiene miedo de quedarse en silencio y empezar a pensar.

Concept Generator and references

To begin with, behind the generating idea is the fact that I wanted to make a short film, in which at the moment of producing it, I didn't have to take into account so many things, because it can get very complicated if you have actors, several locations, etc. So I started working on a kind of monologue, or soliloquy, that would help me concentrate more on the material and not on the variables that may arise.

From these considerations I started working on a script that would deal with a personal reflection, a one on one conversation with my unconscious and my main references are Car Radio by twenty one Pilots, a song whose lyrics talk about how a person who has just lost his main outlet to avoid talking to himself (his car radio), is afraid to stay silent and start thinking.

Y mi otra referencia principal es El capítulo 21 del Anime Soul Eater donde el personaje Crona, en una introspección a su inconsciente, nos muestra como evade contestarse preguntas a sí misma, ciertamente lo hace desde la inocencia de una niña traumada por un pasado horrible, pero creo que se pueden extrapolar cosas interesantes.

And my other main reference is Chapter 21 of the Anime Soul Eater where the character Crona, in an introspection to her unconscious, shows us how she evades answering questions to herself, certainly she does it from the innocence of a girl traumatized by a horrible past, but I think you can extrapolate interesting things.

Esto dio resultado a un guion, donde el personaje principal teme quedarse sin distracciones porque empieza a pensar, empieza a autocuestionarse y no le gustan estas preguntas, las escucha todas, pero evita responder cualquiera, evita abrirse consigo mismo:

This resulted in a script, where the main character is afraid of running out of distractions because he starts to think, he starts to question himself and he doesn't like these questions, he hears them all, but he avoids answering any of them, he avoids opening up to himself:

¡Esta es la primera versión del guion, que opinas?, consideras que transmite lo que me propuse, o no?, debo acotar que la tarea indica que el corto debe durar un minuto, así que no es posible explorar más en profundidad, así que lo emocionante para mí es tratar de explorar este tema o al menos lo suficiente, para que quede en la mente del espectador la idea planteada!

¡Lo que he aprendido es que estos guiones suelen estar sujeto a muchos cambios, así que estoy abierto a feedback! ¡Para tratar de mejorar, y poder presentar un buen trabajo a mi clase!
