Hello, hello art-loving creative friends. Blessed Friday afternoon, welcoming the long awaited weekend. On my part I have had a very busy week that has left me very exhausted, both physically and mentally. That's why I decided to focus today's post on the creative and relaxing side. Today I'm sharing with you a little drawing I've been doing to release some of the accumulated stress of the week.
I have always considered myself a person who is able to manage in any work environment, since I am a fast learner and I like to learn a lot. This ability has allowed me to experience different jobs, in addition to my main profession which is teaching. It is very nice to allow me to explore new professions, however, there are some jobs that, by their nature, require more concentration and do not allow us to have such a flexible margin of error, as is the case of administrative work. Therefore, the degree of stress is much higher than that generated with creative work.
I also like administrative work very much, since I love to organize and I am very good at creating formats and all those things. However, at the end of the day I end up with an exhausted mind, which doesn't happen to me when I'm doing manual labor. Creative work gives our brain a certain sense of well-being and keeps it energized and wanting to keep creating. That is why when I have some time I allow myself to do some creative activity that cheers up my neurons and makes them move with energy and joy.
Before I learned about this activity, my favorite activity and my favorite relaxation therapy was crocheting. However, for some time now, I have not been able to crochet as often as I would like due to an ailment in my right elbow, so finding this activity has been very wonderful, as I can do something creative that does not take a lot of time and does not hurt my elbow.
Soon I will continue sharing more of these drawing exercises, for now I say goodbye, wishing you an excellent and blessed weekend. Thank you for reading, Greetings and blessings
