Hello, hello creative friends of Hive, it's a pleasure to greet you again in this community. I take advantage of this cool rainy afternoon to share with you a new drawing that I was doing last night as an activity to relax from the work and worries of the day.
My project today is a very colorful and a bit messy puzzle. This blank puzzle pattern I printed a few days ago with the idea of coloring it an image inside the pattern. However, there was a sudden change of ideas and it ended up being this drawing full of lines and colors.
Since the beginning of this week I have suffered severe headaches generated by stress and various situations, yesterday the pain was unbearable, but I am not one of those people who go to bed until I feel better, on the contrary, I prefer to do some activity that distracts me and makes me forget the pain. So last night I decided to fill with lines and colors this puzzle pattern without any specific order, the idea was to let my creativity flow and relax in the process.
While I was drawing the different lines in each of the pieces of the puzzle, I was thinking that this technique is very particular, it does not produce the same effect in all people, since my daughter and some of my relatives have told me that they find it very stressful and that it would cause them a lot of anxiety to have to do repetitive processes. Some people find these line patterns stressful and overwhelming. I would like to know what impressions you have about this, do you find this technique relaxing or does it cause you anxiety?
The final result seems a bit messy, maybe it is a reflection of how my mind is at this moment of my life, as they say that art is an expression of what we have inside. however, I can say that after finishing the drawing my headache had diminished considerably. I hope to color this pattern again when I feel better so I can compare both results. For now I say goodbye wishing you a nice weekend. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
