Hello, hello creative friends, I hope you are doing well. I am here again to share with you a new drawing made with this line drawing technique that I have been learning these last weeks.
As I mentioned in the previous post, crochet is my passion and my favorite therapy to combat stress and anxiety. However, due to an injury to my right elbow, I am no longer able to crochet as often as I used to. So finding this technique has been wonderful for me, because it relaxes and entertains me so much.
Every day I take a short break in my working day and dedicate myself to draw some lines, I also do it unconsciously when I'm talking on the phone or watching a video. This time I took as a reference an image from Pinterest that caught my attention. At first I thought it would be a very complicated drawing for someone who is just starting to draw lines. But after following the step by step I was surprised how simple and quick it is.
What struck me about this drawing is the perception of depth and movement it has. I have always liked this kind of drawings, but I had the idea that they were very difficult, now I understand a little bit how this effect is achieved just by knowing how to place the lines in the right size and shape. Another thing that I like a lot is to make drawings with colors, since they look much more beautiful and striking.
Finally, I want to tell you that I had a great time tracing and coloring these lines. I loved the final result. I hope to continue learning and learning about this technique to achieve much more neat drawings. Thank you all for reading, greetings and blessings. 🤗
