(ESP-ENG) My Favorite Channel: Lethal Crysis.

in #hive-1351832 months ago

Hello friends, good vibes to all.

Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos.

Source!

Today I come to this community thanks to an initiative which suggests choosing a favorite Youtube channel, or the one you like the most, and share it with all of you. And well thanks to @jcrodriguez for suggesting me. Youtube is a platform that I constantly consume, there are channels or content creators that I have stopped following, several of them, but there are a few that I remain faithful to and that is because of the immense quality that they have and present in their work. In this opportunity I am going to talk about Lethal Crysis or as his name is Rubén Díez. I am a person who is very interested in culture, I always want to know things that are far away from my environment, to know the way of thinking of people but above all to understand things.

I met Lethal about 5 years ago when by chance I came across his channel with a video that I think is one of the most viewed videos: “This is what a RADICAL JEWISH NEIGHBORHOOD looks like in Jerusalem”. This video refers to Mea Shearim, a neighborhood in Israel where people who belong to an extremely radical wing of Judaism live. The video is top because he enters knowing that foreign people and even more with a camera, sometimes, are not well seen, which in the end can lead to hostilities. But he doesn't do it just for the sake of saying “I went in”, Ruben is a documentary type, he prepares himself for the videos and gives you all the cultural, political, social, anthropological context of the places he visits.

Many times his trips are for mere enjoyment but the vast majority are not, he always goes after the conflict, those places where things are really happening. Many do not know it but he has come to Venezuela when the country was submerged in a hyperinflationary crisis, he visited Petare, the supermarkets, the coasts of the country but the video that caught my attention the most was when he “sneaks” into a hospital to see the true reality of public health in the country. One of his characteristics is that he always makes his videos from the respect and understanding very well the environment where he is and this has been one of his greatest evolutions. Lethal began visiting abandoned places and little by little his content mutated into what he is today, a youtuber/documentary maker who has come a long way.

To name the countries and places he has been to would be infinite, but above I can tell you that he has been in Iran, Afghanistan filming with the Taliban, visiting cannibals in India, he was in the CECOT prison, the famous prison of El Salvador of the gang members; in many African tribes, of those that are impenetrable for any tourist and of course, he comes a lot to the Amazon, especially to Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, etc. In fact, he has a series where he takes ayahuasca with shamans and relates the whole experience which is very top notch and shocking to watch. Just to name a few. His notoriety has led him to always be in the eye of the hurricane, he is not a simple youtuber today, he is a journalistic reference for many people, including myself, what one can learn by watching his videos is a barbarity.

And being in the eye of the hurricane is so much so that in one of his last trips he was being pursued by none other than the Wagner Group, these Russians who operate in many countries. When this happens it is because you know something is being done right. Being a photographer myself, I admire the work this guy does, because it's not only the content he offers but everything related to the visuals, the videography, the photography he uses, the shots and sequences, really watching his videos is quite an experience; he is a very complete creator, one of the best I would say on the platform. He has more than 5 million subscribers and honestly I think they are few, he is still underrated despite how well known he is.

Lethal Crysis is a channel for all tastes but if you want to learn about cultures you probably don't know, be informed of how the world is moving in remote places and understand what the traditional media doesn't tell you, this Spanish is the answer. There is not a video in which you don't find important and valuable information, you always learn something new.

I would like to invite @pannavi and @musicandreview to this cool initiative.

Quisiera invitar a esta iniciativa tan cool a @pannavi y a @musicandreview

Thanks for recommending it, I'm going to stop by, I like this kind of content 👍👍.
💯

Hello @javyeslava.photo welcome ☺️ You know that my husband watches these videos. The truth is, I haven't sat down to watch it in detail because he was always doing other things, but I remember that he told me that this YouTube came from Venezuela and now you confirm it to me. From what I have told me if you go to places that are extremely abandoned When I get home I go into your videos to watch more since reading your post caught my attention. Thank you very much for sharing ☺️ Greetings

He came a few years ago so some of those videos are not as up to date but the reality is still pretty much the same. And yes, you should see some of the others he has, they are really good.

Cheers, thanks you for commenting!

Excellent review, the truth is that I was shocked by all the videos and the way in which this person exposes the reality... the video of the hospital in Venezuela, gave me chills... to think about that reality is terrible.

Thank you very much for recommending this channel and for participating in the initiative, thank you very much!✨

The hospital video is certainly complicated, the reality is that and it is very stark. But apart from that he has others that are equally or even more shocking.

Thanks to you for these initiatives, you will probably see me more often because I have a couple more channels that are really worth it.

Cheers!!!

It's a pleasure to meet your favourites, and any reviews on YouTube videos or video platforms you like or maybe videos you don't like... why not?

Thank you very much for participating! Welcome!

This channel looks super informative and risky. I hope this brave young man doesn't have any problems because it's not easy to show all this... they are annoying people who show well, without YouTubers like that we wouldn't find out, I guess. Thanks for participating 😀

It has had problems, especially nowadays. Sometimes telling the truth can upset certain people. He is a very top youtuber who shows reality as it is and that makes some people uncomfortable.

But yes, we need more people like that.

Nowadays with this internet tool, people like this YouTuber show us what no television channel shows us, the sad reality of a world that hides a lot of misery and danger. The work that this guy does is incredible, you have to be well disposed to make videos and documentaries of this type because the danger is always lurking, worthy of admiration.

Thank you very much for participating, a pleasure to have you here! 🦉

In fact, I haven't watched television for a long time precisely because of this, the documentary quality of Lethal is top notch. I would go so far as to say that their work is slightly superior to, for example, what you can see on National Geographic, I'm not exaggerating.

Thanks for the welcome, cheers!
