What a Gift it would be... Chapter 11

in #hive-136819last year

Hello Everyone, i hope you are well. Today marks the eleventh consecutive day of me posting another silver coin. This is actually a challenge/initiative that came out from @silverd510 and the gist is to create 12 consecutive posts about silver coins that you would like to receive as a present for Christmas.

In the spirit of the knight world, today i have another silver coin similar to the one i presented yesterday with Sir Lancelot. The difference this time is that the coin is part of the Knights of the Past Series from Germania Mint and i believe all the fans of the medieval era will really like it.

This is a 2 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver and it's the 2nd release of the series. In total, there are 999 coins like this one out there and ofc if anyone buys it there is a specific box which you can see below and the certification of authenticity as well.

On one side you can see 2 knights. The one with the golden plate is a knight of Malta facing an Ottoman invader. From what i read this was inspired by the siege of Malta. We can also see on the left another soldier guarding and on the right side some ships possibly invading. The coins have the 10 euro mark. On the other side, it's the coat of arms of the Bank of Malta. There is also the 2oz and 999 proof as well as the date that was issued (2022). This coin currently costs around 328$ to 343$.

As i said yesterday as well, i really like coins like these because they combine different aspects. For example, in this case, we got a historical moment, silver and gold and sculpture-like architecture all in one coin! What do you think about it?
