one thing about the world and the human race and specie is the ability to grow, improvise and make innovations to try and satisfy human needs, but if we are familiar with economics, there is a saying that human needs cannot be satisfied. looking back to when the human race first found gold, the only things they use kit for was for means of exchange and to measure wealth, maybe some use it a bit for medicinal purpose, but looking at how the human race has evolved and grown over the years we can see that, this as changed, and human have created many innovations and uses for gold to satisfy the never-ending human needs, but some of these needs are just mere wants or things that there are other possible ways of getting satisfaction rather than use our precious metals to satisfy them, here are few uses of gold that i consider rather unnecessary in our world today.

Losing Weight
In case some of us don't know that there is a weight loss system called NanoLipo that uses nanoparticles with gold, heated by infrared light, to melt fat away. The gold nanorods are injected into fat and diffuse through it before being heated from outside the area. This heats the gold and bursts the fat cell and the bursted fat is sucked out of the body using a needle.
why would anyone want to take their body through that kind of procedure when they can simply choose to eat healthily and even do the simplest of gyming exercise?
Another thing that has caught my attention is that some people in the search to create luxurious things with gold they end up making things that don't have value, but what i still can't get my head around is seeing people buying this product, for example, The Golden Cupcake, why would some spend over $1,000 dollars on buying an edible golden cupcake, when i can get a nice tasty cupcake for $5? like i said earlier some of these uses of gold is one of the reasons our precious metals are losing it value and uniqueness, and if this is not checked, this kind of activities will keep growing until almost every things on this earth will be made of gold, but the big question is, will there be enough gold to do this, or would there still be enough gold to mine when we get to this stage?
