Top of the day to everyone, hope we are all doing well even with the current increase in inflation, interest rate and depreciation of currencies in most countries of the world.
talking about money and value, i will be talking about the old tender of exchange, when coins was only the recognised tender for exchange before the paper money came. One thing i actually value about the formal coins is that they were made of our precious metals, either gold or silver. unlike the new coins made today with copper plated zinc.
enough of the long talk, i will be talking about the top five most valuable coins in the world.
1* 1933 double eagle
The United States 1933 double eagle is a United States 20-dollar gold coin. only 445,500 pieces of this Saint-Gaudens double eagle were made in 1933, but none were ever officially circulated, and all but two were ordered to be melted down. However, almost 20 were stolen or rescued from melting and some were later destroyed and there are less than 15 of the coins world. One is currently valued and sold $18,900,000 dollars.

2* Flower hair dollar
The Flowing Hair dollar was the first dollar coin minted and issued by the United States federal government. The coin was minted in 1794 and 1795; its size and weight were based on the Spanish dollar, which was popular in trade throughout the Americas. It was designed by robert scot in 1795, he designed the Draped Bust obverse, which shows a more voluptuous rendering of Miss Liberty with curlier locks. The coin was sold $12,000,000 dollars at its last auction.

The Brasher Doubloon was minted in 1787, the coin was the result of Ephriam Brashers the talented goldsmith and his goal to convince the New York State to use copper coins instead of gold. like any other invention, the state amd people didnt agree with him, and like other few genius and achiever he went on to mint the coins without the state approval. These coins are veery rare and vaery valuable, one coin was purchased by a wall street investment firm at auction for $7.4 million dollars, but it is currently worth $9,360,000 million dollars.

The half eagle is a United States coin that was produced for circulation from 1795 to 1929 and in commemorative and bullion coins since 1983.
