Again, @silversaver888 was my inspiration hehe. I think one of the most desired Chinese calendar-themed collections is the one minted for Rwanda. There are other collections that are great, but this one is very nice but not so easy to find. Another collection that I am hyped is the one from Asahi that started to mint last year with the year of the Dragon and they also have the year of the Snake minted for this year. However, the seller missed my pre-order and now he is sold out. I contacted another seller who probably has some left.
Anyways this series of Chinese lunar calendars from Rwanda actually was minted by a famous german mint, I posted recently about the Geiger stuff but this one is also very famous. It is called B. H. Mayer Kunstprageanstalt or more simply way as Mayer Mint or the Bavarian mint. The letters BH means Bayerisches Hauptmünzamt which makes the name longer, but it means Bavarian Mint. It is located in the city of Munich and it is one of the oldest Mints in Europe. The African Wildlife series from Somalia is also minted by the same guys.
Recently I got a bit addicted to finding previous Chinese lunar calendar coins, especially if it's from my animal, the Rat. I still didn't find the last year of the Rat coin from this Rwanda series with a good price but I found this 2017 year of the Rooster. This is also interesting for me since it is the year that my oldest daughter was born. The texture of the art is amazing, The rooster is made in mosaics with different silver treatments. The mosaics some are more polished than others. In addition the reverse of the coin with the country name etc has a different texture as well. The coin came in the original seal and for sure I won't open it.

Ainda não encontrei o último ano da moeda do Rato desta série de Ruanda com um bom preço, mas encontrei este ano do Galo de 2017. Isso também é interessante para mim, pois é o ano em que minha filha mais velha nasceu. A textura da arte é incrível. O galo é feito em mosaicos com diferentes tratamentos de prata. Os mosaicos são alguns mais polidos do que outros. Além disso, o reverso da moeda com o nome do país etc. também tem uma textura diferente. A moeda veio no selo original e com certeza não vou abri-la.
