Important history of one of the smaller mints of the US. I have only one coin from the Carson City mint, a 1874 CC American Trade Dollar from the ship wreck of the SS Japan steamship that was found off the Chinese coast off Guandong Province. A pretty cool piece of history.

That is a very cool coin! I love trade dollars especially from Carson City, but then add shipwreck salvage on top of that... Awesome.
