It hardly feels like a year has passed since I last participated in the previous #silvergoldstacker secret santa initiative.
Although not an official ssg yet, I do happen to love most if not all of their events and/or posts.
This post though isn't a Christmas wishlist. I plan on writing on my own wish lists when it's truly over.
After my view of mythology last week, I decided to go for the same theme but a different beast.
The Hydra was a mythological beast known as a terror and monster. Well it's time to show one of it's pure opposites.

The Griffin is a mythological beast that is almost as influential as the hydra. Yet it's activities were thoroughly different.
For as the Hydra was a harbinger of death and destruction, while the Griffin is what one would call the protector.
The Griffin comes along in numerous religions, cultures and sometimes fantastical items.
This beast, a mixture of a lion and eagle is a loyal precut movement of regality and protection.
And yet Niue happens to get this design as always wonderfully well.
They're some of the best and are certainly my best when it comes to the design of their coins.
This coin was released in 2021, with just 600 pieces mintage, it's almost impossible to find where one is.
The front shows the Griffin perched on a branch about to take flight.
It had a green background
The details like I've said before are amazing. Although it has a very high price for buyers due to its extremely low mintage..
