For the longest time now I have reserved Wednesday for my InLeo Premium update report. For those who wondered if I did renew my premium status, I did. I have had premium status for more than eight months now and I have come out with a decent return on my investment each time until this past month. To be completely fair I felt it would only be right to give it another month before I make any final decisions. However, because I only recently renewed there isn't much to report so far, so next week I'll put together a status update for you all!
It's been a few years since I've driven up to Las Vegas, and lately it's been sounding more and more fun. In the meantime though I can share one of my Silver Strike tokens from Las Vegas. These are commemorative tokens produced to payout on the Silver Strike slot machines, and some are made with pure silver. The machines are a dying breed it seems as fewer and fewer casinos carry them, they used to be in almost all the casinos world wide.
Today's token comes from the Paris Las Vegas. I have never stayed in the hotel or even stepped foot in it come to think of it. Usually I prefer tokens from casinos that are defunct, but this one had a beautiful eagle with a salute to the armed forces that defend the US. This was produced in 2002 not too long after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks so it was a common theme across many of these tokens at the time. Have a look, I love the design!
About the token:
From silverstrikers.com
This token is composed of about 0.65 Troy ounces of silver surrounded by a brass ring. I love the silver content in these tokens and it was a big reason I started to collect them years ago. This particular token came from eBay if I recall correctly, and it was a great price at the time. As a former Army officer I love the tribute to the armed forces, and the eagle is really cool as well. I also have always love the city of Paris so I decided I needed one in my collection.
Paris Las Vegas
This hotel and casino was built in the late 1990's and opened in 1999 to the tune of $785 million dollars. Not cheap, but nothing they build in Vegas is cheap anymore. It's a hotel focused on middle class clientele unlike the higher end luxury properties nearby. They themed the whole place after Paris, France and even built a one half scale Eiffel Tower. It's one of those landmarks that's hard to miss on the Las Vegas Strip. Since I've never stayed there I had to borrow some photos online of the hotel.

This is the view at night, all of the flashing lights all over the Strip are a lot of fun. I understand they even do a lightshow on the tower at night, I don't think I've ever been close enough at night to see it though. They do a similar show on the real Eiffel tower in Paris, France. It looks like a nice place to stay though.

And above I shared a couple photos also borrowed online showing some of the shops in the hotel designed to look like a Paris street and even the casino floor has the same feel. That's one thing I love about the hotels in Vegas is they do literally fashion the interior to resemble the location they are replicating. It's a lot of fun to just wander around and see all of the shops and restaurants. Although the most interesting thing to watch are all the different kinds of people, and Las Vegas really is a great place if you enjoy just people watching! And no, I'm not talking about the strip clubs...
Now I am in the mood to head to Vegas!
That will wrap up my post for the day. I hope you enjoyed seeing the Paris Las Vegas silver commemorative token along with some pictures of the site itself. I don't have many tokens from hotels that are still in business, so it was fun to find some pictures online to be able to share with you. If you have any comments or questions please feel free to leave them below. Thank you for all of your support it is truly appreciated. Have a great Wednesday, halfway through the work week already!
