Neatoooo! Fresh silver !
Any of you paying attention to my silver posts, know that I had recently hit a plateau when it comes to finding new designs of commemorative German marks, which is currently amongst my favorite type of silver to collect.
But finally last week I managed to find a seller that had some fresh designs, for a fair price. And after some bargaining, we settled for a 10% over spot. Not great but much better then the initial 20% he was asking.
Ok, let's open that baby up!

900th Anniversary - Birth of Hildegard von Bingen
300th Anniversary of the Francke Foundations in Halle
Emperor Friedrich I. Barbarossa - 800th Anniversary of death
1200th Anniversary - Founding the Cathedral in Aachen by Charlemagne
800th Anniversary of the Death of Henry the Lion
150th birthday of Robert Koch
And finally my favorite from today's package:
150th birth anniversary - William Conrad Röntgen; 100th Anniversary of x-ray
So, a total of 7 pieces. Like always, each one of these weights 15.5 g, with 3 of them being 0.925 and the rest of 0.625 purity. That's a total of about 82 g of pure silver for the stack 🎉
I am also expecting another mail I can't wait to receive. After a long, long time I have finally ordered my first Morgan dollar !
Ok plebs, and that's it for today's mail call. As always, I will eventually cover each one of these pieces in more details in separate posts. It will probably take a while though with all the silver I have been ordering the past couple months 😂
