Hello Hivers, how was your weekend? I had a wonderful weekend exploring Vi Ro Ngheo waterfall located on Thuong Kon Tum hydroelectric lake with friends. A weekend at Thuong Kon Tum hydroelectric lake will be an ideal suburban experience, giving us the opportunity to relax and explore beautiful nature.
From Mang Den town center, it took us about 45 minutes to drive to the lake. I have a friend who has been a fisherman for many years at this lake, so we hired him to take us to visit the lake and explore Vi Ro Theo waterfall. Although this is a very large lake with a radius of about 14km, there are many oases in the middle of the lake and surrounded by primeval forest, but he seems to know every corner of the lake. We started with a boat trip on the lake. In the fresh air of the morning, we had the opportunity to admire the majestic scenery, from distant mountain ranges to primeval forests reflected in the water.
Next, the boat driver led us trekking into the world of wild nature. We had the opportunity to breathe fresh air, see biodiversity, and even explore the typical flora and fauna of the area. Trekking through the forest also provides a great opportunity to learn about wild plants and observe the natural life here.
Following the stream and going deep into the forest for about 15 minutes, we reached Vi Ro Ngheo waterfall. It is a beautiful waterfall hidden in the middle of a peaceful forest. In addition, we also spent a lot of time at and enjoying the beauty of the clear streams. Waterfalls, streams, primeval forests and ferns create breathtaking natural pictures.
Rowing SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) on the lake is another interesting activity, suitable for those who like water sports. This experience not only helps improve health and balance, but also brings a peaceful feeling when gliding gently on the surface of the lake, admiring the surrounding scenery from a unique perspective of the lake.
And the highlight of the day is lunch on the lake with local dishes. We enjoyed traditional dishes, made from fresh ingredients such as lake fish, pork from the village, wild vegetables, and typical herbs of the mountains. We had lunch at a raft house below a waterfall. The meal is not only an opportunity to explore local cuisine, but also an opportunity to admire the peaceful scenery of the hydroelectric lake, making the experience more complete.
Spending a weekend at Thuong Kon Tum hydroelectric lake, with diverse activities from nature exploration, water sports, to local cuisine, will definitely be a memorable experience, bringing a refreshing spirit and Positive energy for the upcoming working week. I also highly recommend this experience to those who have the opportunity to travel to Mang Den.
