Nature's Call

in #hive-1393582 years ago

I think you and everyone here ever or even often failed to go into a routine or to one of the places, events maybe, party invitations or maybe any agenda that has been planned from yesterday. For whatever reason, for example being sick, you have other sudden agendas that you have to take care of, or because of heavy rain in the morning (This is one of the obstacles to leaving for those who do not have a car or vehicle that is able to cover it from the rain). Yeah, I don't have that, and that's one of the things I experienced this morning, so I didn't go out on field business.

But it won't be a problem for my job, because I'm a field worker, even though I work in the government. I can set a new schedule tomorrow. That's why I prefer to be a field worker than indoors.

Because it failed on the plan that was scheduled from yesterday, I just relaxed in front of the house accompanied by a cup of warm and delicious coffee in an atmosphere of still heavy rain. Counting there were three cups of coffee I had drunk in that atmosphere, and the rain new only stopped in the middle of the day, it was no longer possible to continue the plan that had failed, there was not enough time.

Then my friend called me and told me to go to his fields, maybe it would be fun.He knows I failed to my agenda, because he saw my Stories WhatsApp. Don't get me wrong, I don't really like Snap, this It's only the fifth time I've made a Stories on WhatsApp.

I think it would be really fun, going to the rice fields and enjoying nature. I immediately turned on my old motor and went there. I only traveled about 5 km to reach my friend's field, through a country road full of corn fields around it, I also had to pass a bridge that spanned a beautiful river. Pleasant, I also passed an incline with slippery clay road conditions because the rain had just made this road slippery. Again, that's a fun thing.

Now I arrived at the location where my friend planted rice. My friend is a young farmer, and so am I. Being a farmer is something that must be accepted and practiced, rice farmers in the fields. Generally, we in Indonesia, rice is the staple food, so, to be a farmer who grows rice is something that is part of our routine.

On the other hand, for us people with mediocre income, we have no other choice but to become farmers, because buying staple food (rice) at inflated prices is a little difficult. If we become farmers, at least we don't think much about staple food. Sometimes we also plant it for side dishes in the garden. That's one of the very good things, for us who live in the village.

Back to my topic. I gave the title of this post. Call of Nature, because today I without the original plan have followed the steps of to enjoy nature and feel everything that is in nature.

Really being outdoors and nature really makes me feel better, I photograph green weeds, photograph insects having fun on rice stalks, I smell nature's sweet and pleasant scent that goes deep into my lungs.

I sat on the edge of the stream at the edge of the rice field, the sound of the stream made me more relaxed. While my friend is busy harvesting his rice, which has arrived at harvest time.

Not wasting this opportunity, I again took pictures of the huts in the middle of the rice fields, while the rice farmers were busy controlling their rice crops.

It doesn't matter the color of the skin will be black, and it's not a problem for us farmers, who only think about how their rice grows well and gets abundant yields.

My friend is a rice farmer who has good skills, planting, caring for and even harvesting, it has become his expertise.

I hope he won't be mad that I took his picture. I have to capture this beautiful moment for me to show you all, about how my friend is a young farmer who is an expert in that.

After the rice is cut in the traditional way, then tied one by one until it becomes a lot, and dried on the rice stalks that have been cut to be transported the next day and then separated from the leaves and stems, leaving only the grains of rice to be stored in a container. long time.

And it will accommodate their basic food needs for the next month. Such is the life of farmers and we who live in the village.

I guess that's my outdoor activity that I can review here. Without an initial plan, only diverts failure from the original plan.

Thank you all for your free time that has stopped here, have a nice day. See you again.
