Sunset from Ostritsa peak

in #hive-139358last year

Despite the strong wind that day, with @fog043 and other friends we decided to get to Ostritsa peak (666 m high - the highest peak in the region of Topolitsa) and enjoy the sunset.

Even from afar we could see the dense veil of clouds and the long colored strip formed on the horizon by the colors of the setting sun.

We went up there in a car and the wind was so strong that at times it was difficult to even keep our balance.

The noise of the wind was loud and howling in our ears and we had to shout to be able to hear what we were saying.

We got into the car and continued to enjoy the sunset, expecting at any moment the sun to break through with the last ray of light for the day.

Here is this beautiful moment, and with it it also started to lightly snow.

We continued to the shelter of the village of Zaichar - we had not visited it for a long time and wanted to see it.

It was already dusk.

Everything was as I remembered it from my last visit - the stone fountain, the wooden benches, the big trees - now with a beautiful carpet of fallen autumn leaves, the shelter building.

The interesting fence had begun to crumble in places.

In the shelter we found local people from the nearby village who had lit a fire and were spending the end of the day in a friendly atmosphere. We greeted them and continued on our way.

Thank you for stopping by!

Thank you very much @ackhoo from the @qurator Team 🤗

This are beautiful photos, Autumn has looks amazing over there, the red light in the shelter looks like two ghostly eyes

The fire really gives a mysterious look to the photo 👍
