Hello community, happy beginning of the week, I hope you are well, this is my first publication here, I hope to continue growing and contributing my grain of sand in order to know and enjoy the beautiful landscapes and natural monuments that nature gives us.
This time I want to share with you a natural monument known as the Cerro de Cascajal, which is located in the city of Cumaná, Sucre state, Venezuela.
This natural plateau is called cascajal because it was very rocky (stone), had a large area of land, which gradually were undermined to build buildings, schools, clinics, among others. Also its soil was used as filler in many areas of the city to build urbanism since where I live I am at an altitude of 0 meters above sea level.
We thank God for this natural monument because the area where we are is at high risk, because the earth constantly trembles, however, in this sector according to civil defense is not felt because it is one of the places more firm by the presence of the hill and when we feel tremor is because it has been of great magnitude.
Nowadays, it has become a place for walking and recreation, many people come to enjoy themselves and to perform their daily exercise routines. Personally I take my walks in the afternoons because in the morning the sun is very intense. In addition, we can enjoy a cool breeze and of course this majestic and imposing hill.
It is a place where we can contemplate God's art in nature and be in harmony with it to enjoy physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Some time ago when I was diagnosed by health professionals with covid, this became one of the places I frequented for my walks in order to increase my lung capacity and begin to enjoy a good measure of health again.
I am still walking because it is better to take care than to heal and above all to continue taking care of and loving nature.
See you in the next adventure to continue contemplating beautiful natural landscapes and as someone said let's keep the flame of love for nature alive because it is the true way to understand art more and more.
Nature is God's art.
