Project: Distriator
- As stated in our previous post, we are working on putting data on chain.
- After putting data on chain, we should be able to sync with that.
- That's what we are working on at the moment.
Getting data from Hive Blockchain
- As you can see in the screenshot above, we've added a logic to start syncing from a specific block
- If we've already synced to a specific block, it will resume from that block.
- If there is no sync done, it'll start from the start block of Distriator which is

- As you can see in the screenshot above, we go block by block
- For each block, we find out operations which are related to Distriator
- By going through each operation, we update the database.
Discussions & Roadmap
- We had a detailed call with @starkerz today.
- We discussed several items today.
- From discussion, I figured out the action items & moved all of them to Trello
- I also got clarification for priority for each to-dos.
- Trello board is now updated & we've good amount of action items to move forward.
What's Next?
- We are working on putting the data & syncing the data for businesses on/from block-chain.
- Once done, we'll ship this on the beta environment & see how it goes.

Project: Inbox for Hive - Hobby Project
Hive Inbox Mobile App - Working on Landing Page
- As you can see in the screenshot above, we are working on the landing page.
- We were able to configure DNS over the weekends.
- After configuring DNS, we connected it with Google Firebase Hosting service.
- It took some time to have SSL certs installed from Google but finally it worked.
- We deployed work-in-progress page on https://inbox.the-hive-mobile.app so that it doesn't load unavailable page.
- We'll showcase features of the app & link to download the app on this landing page.
Hive Inbox Mobile App - Testing
- We did some stress testing over the weekend for inbox application.
- So far app looks good but it needs a thorough testing.
- After testing we found several mini bugs & after fixing those we'll have a final touches
- Onces these bugs are fixed and tested, we'll push it to AppStore & PlayStore.

Updates: Video Encoder Nodes
- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-07-27, 3Speak published total 111 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 83 videos from 111 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 74.77 % of total videos published on 2024-07-27
