Updates on Project Distriator
Working on Leaderboard
- As you can see in the above screenshot, we managed to prepare leaderboard graph.
- Leaderboard is shown for the current period (Current period can be from 1st to 15th OR 15th to end of month)
- Above screenshot is a reference to the web-app.
- I'll test these changes today & ship it to production.
- We have to work on few improvements as well e.g. current period is missing in leaderboard.
How does Leaderboard look in Mobile?
- Our initial idea was to keep all consumers in leaderboard page.
- But sometimes there are many consumers & we can fit them all.
- Due to more consumers, leaderboard ends up having big horizontal scroll.
- To avoid this issue, we've only kept top-10 consumers as a part of leaderboard

Updates: Video Encoder Nodes
- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-09-18, 3Speak published total 230 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 217 videos from 230 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 94.35 % of total videos published on 2024-09-18
