Updates on Project Distriator
Review Management from Business Reviews page
- As you can see in the screenshot above, user will be able to see hide button.
- This hide button will be only visible to admins & trusted-business-guide of that business.
- With this, they can decide, what reviews should be shown to user & which should be hidden.
- E.g. I make a payment at econoquesos & claim rewards by adding a test review. This review is indeed a test review. So, it shouldn't be visible to all users.
- With this feature in place, only appropriate reviews will be shown on a business details page.
Hidden Reviews - Work in progress
- We are working on how to display hidden reviews to admin/guides
- With this, admins/guides can mark visible the review again.
- As you can see in the screenshot above, it shows just "show" button with text "review is hidden"
- We'll get feedback on this & make further progress on it.
- We are yet to ship front-end changes which are related to it.
Script to get SpendHBD reviews
- We wrote a script to get all the reviews for the businesses we have on Distriator.
- We managed to get around 1,210 business reviews for all of the businesses.
- Now, we'll work on getting the missed business reviews which are on hive-blockchain. e.g. Reviews added during hivefest which are not on spendhbd but on hive blockchain.

Updates: Video Encoder Nodes
- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-09-24, 3Speak published total 175 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 120 videos from 175 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 68.57 % of total videos published on 2024-09-24
