Updates on Project Distriator
Business Reviews on a business with payment & discount values
- So far we were looking at business reviews from hive-blockchain's perspective.
- Showing upvotes value in dollar, showing comments count, showing upvotes count - These are hive blockchain's post related attributes.
- These attributes doesn't serve a purpose to a business details.
- These attributes can be viewed by tapping on it. Upon clicking/tapping on a review, it opens up review post & you can check those details.
- A business would be interested in looking at the consumer's spending & the discounts that they are getting.
- We've updated all possible business reviews with these values by running script to get all the data from hive blockchain.
- As you can see in the screenshot above, invoice amount (paid amount) is shown on bottom-left corner.
- It also shows the discount claimed by a consumer, in the bottom-center corner.
- Bottom-right corner highlights that when it was claimed by consumer.
- With this given details, "Angeles Shop" as a business, can understand consumers spending pattern after getting going through list of reviews
Bugs Fixed
- ✅ Recently added business was getting added at the end of all reviews - Fixed
- ✅ Due to incorrect ISO8601 Date format, reviews's relative time was showing incorrect - Fixed
Claims Fixed
- Some users were unable to claim even after publishing the review.
- This is due to Hive API nodes. Some API nodes do not find post published seconds ago. - This results in to claim failure because post wasn't found by Hive API node.
- So, this requires manual trigger again to send the discounts based on review that they published.

Updates: Video Encoder Nodes
- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-10-02, 3Speak published total 147 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 141 videos from 147 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 95.92 % of total videos published on 2024-10-02
