For those who don't know me, my name is Rosalmys Velásquez. A cumanesa 🇻🇪 of 32 years living on the other side of the pond, as I affectionately say now that I live in Tenerife 🇮🇨 I studied Chemical Process Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica Territorial del Oeste de Sucre "Clodosbaldo Russian", formerly known as IUTC. But although at some point in life I was very much in love with my career, I must confess that my true passion for writing led me to #HIVE, where I feel like a fish in water.

I will be the one to guide you into a whole experience through my column called "Empowered Women, Women to Admire", which will basically focus on talking about the scope, goals, projects and achievements of great women in history and today. This one would basically focus on talking about the scopes, goals, projects and achievements of great women in history and today. Don't you think it's great? Long live female empowerment! 🥳

I also want to tell you about several friends and acquaintances, women worthy of admiration because as empowered women they have managed to get ahead on their own merits. Many of them have fabulous enterprises with which they make a living, pay their bills and afford their luxuries. I want to ask them what their dreams are, what their trajectory has been like and if they have achieved their goals with their ventures as empowered women and owners of their economy.

From single mothers to disenfranchised women, the truth is that in life you meet or come across women full of courage and bravery, with beautiful feelings and an unwavering determination to achieve their goals and dreams. Women are unique multitaskers by nature and nothing escapes us. Many of us tend to give ourselves a self-talk to lift our spirits or break old habits. We also become a light in many people's lives, sometimes without even realizing it.

If you know a woman with these characteristics, with a life story worthy of admiration, it is prudent that you run and contact me to schedule an interview. It doesn't matter where she is, thanks to technology, many things are possible today. But I have the arduous task of searching for information and talking about the stories of women who exalt our gender and do their bit every day to make this world a place full of love, equality, respect and many opportunities for all.
