Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal is 35k Hive.
Last week I made 521.4, bringing me to 32,460.720 total Hive Power. That’s 92.7% of my goal! 300 of that is from my daily power-ups using outside money, leaving 221.4 for what I actually made. Which is surprisingly up. Not that I’m complaining about that!
Math time. 35k - 32,460.720 gives us 2539.28. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 18.8 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point. Oh I love to see that drop. Now 18.8 is finally well within what I organically make everyday. Maybe I can start to consider my stretch goal of 40k HP? Hmm… no, not yet. If I pass 35k anytime soon then I’ll consider going for the stretch goal, but let’s got get ahead of ourselves.

I’m thinking about adding RUG to this list. RUG has another great week. @silverstackeruk knows what he’s doing, and the defi world offers tremendous opportunity to someone who does. I’ve come to realize I am not good at that. Even if I do pick a good defi pair to milk, I can’t seem to make myself exit when I should and I invariably stay in too long and watch my profits disappear. That in mind, I’m much more comfortable putting my money into the hands of someone who is much better at this kind of investing than I will ever be.
If you feel the same way, I definitely suggest looking at RUG.

The silver chart for last week:
It was a pretty good week last week, closing at up a buck and some change. Let’s see if the trend can continue this week!
As usual, a coin caught my eye as I was flipping through the sites, doing some window shopping after checking the chart. Here’s another dragon one!
I’m not sure I like the image, to be honest. It’s a bit too busy. But that said, for those collecting the 2024 dragon coins, this is another to get. And these rectangular coins are always nice to have.
