I keep (and add to on a regular basis) a 'writing notes' folder. These are populated with full or partial potential titles, scraps of sentences, post ideas (to flesh out later) and any such errata that comes to me involving writing.

It's quite a big folder as I've been throwing stuff in there for years. Every once in awhile I'll be inspired by a great line or two to finish out a paragraph and often that will be the spark that I generate an entire post out of.

However, I never force my writing. I publish in other places as well outside of Hive (so I can experience difference styles of writing), and if I'm not feeling it, I just don't write that day. Often, I'll write and break, write and break, instead of just trying to complete the whole thing all at once.

i would love to see you justify your paragraphs so that they're nice and neat as I've done here. It really adds to the readability as opposed to having plain ragged text (just a thought, you do as you please).

Here's the code that I wrap my posts in to make them look nice and neat: <div class="text-justify"> Insert your text or article here </div>

Reduce the pressure on yourself. High-effort writing isn't always easy, but you should always finish with a sense of accomplishment that you created your own work from your own creative mind without having to copy anyone else's post (as others are known to do). Good writing is like giving birth. It's a journey, but so worth it in the end.

I agree with you. High effort writing isn’t always easy but it’s worth it in the end. I tried the code and it’s was really great. Maybe I’d have to monetize it now so I can always remember to use it before hitting publish. Thanks for the tips and encouragement.
