I have talked and will continue to do so in a section of the blog about animals that are harmful to the garden, but there are also many animals that are beneficial to the garden. These are the predators that help us control pests in the most efficient and clean way possible. Our job will be to attract them and respect them so that they can help us get the best harvests.

The centipede is a terrible predator given its size. In some places in South America, there are some of enormous size and they can be dangerous even for humans with a very painful sting.
But in general, its size is in accordance with that of other small insects.
Since it is a great predator, it is of great help to the gardener who should not cause it any harm and let it continue on its way. It is a great consumer of worms, snails or slugs, but it can also attack other larger insects such as grasshoppers or locusts. All of this makes it a great pest controller.
The best way to attract it to our garden is to provide it with an appropriate hunting ground. A good mulch for our plants will also be a perfect place for it to make its ambushes.
We must always remember that a garden is an ecosystem and will be healthy if it is balanced with all its inhabitants.
Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
