I'm here again to share with you another project for "Talent Tuesdays". My theme is titled "Silence From Afar". This mixed media art design incorporates animation into a desert scene. On one side of the desert, the landscape is barren with nothing in sight. Evening creeps across the skyline in subtle shades of peach and gray. Friends and enemies alike accustomed to the harsh conditions gather on one side of the desert. They pay no mind to the happenings on the other side that they can't see or understand.
In designing my mixed media art project, I utilized various images to portray my desert scene. Below are my steps and images used:
The female image with the bald head struck me as unusual, so I decided to include it. I felt that the image spoke of keeping secrets. The project is a rare one in which I didn't include any of my pure fractals I normally design in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X, to enhance the scene.
To separate the skyline and landscape, I include a water feature to essentially cool down the scene.
For the animation, I decided to use the tool available to me in Canva that comes with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership Subscription. The animation style was called "Scrapbook".

I finalized my project by blending elements within Canva, my design program. Below are my steps in which I added layers of elements, removing backgrounds, duplicating, colorizing, resizing, and repositioning items as needed. I share below my process in pictures.
