The days have remained mild, but many of these lovely trees are beginning to look bare and their leaves are covering the ground.
Autumn is beautiful while it lasts, but a strong wind can make it all vanish pretty quickly.
Although Autum holds so much beauty, I still feel the loss of summer with all it's lushness, and know that the dark icy days of winter are around the next corner.
Orange and yellow leaves are probably the most common colors of fall, with an occasional burst of brilliant red!
Even the vines loose their leafy summertime beauty, and give this charming window a bleak and rather spooky look.
Winter is coming.
