The crypto world is a wild place for just anyone. At the time of writing, it is rumored that the CEO of Telegram is being arrested in France for fraud and other illicit activities.
How legitimate the news is still unclear, as Cointelegraph made it clear that there hasn't yet been an official confirmation.
While all of this is going on, I am only bothered by why this type of news is only coming out now. If we are being honest, the Telegram app has been in the social media world for a while now.
Although they are just alternatives to other apps, they have been able to turn the tables around ever since they launched the Ton blockchain. It also didn't end there; another huge achievement was the Notcoin bot that launched on the chain.
This was what made way for many other airdrops and also caused a huge percentage of the social media world and crypto enthusiasts to start paying attention to them.
Now, they are also about to make another groundbreaking success with a meme coin launch tomorrow. But just less than 24 hours before that time, the CEO was arrested.
To me, it sounds like a matrix attack on the man’s success because even a blind man could see what type of future awaits the Telegram CEO with thousands of projects ready to launch their tokens on their chain.
I personally think the news is true and is meant to find a way to make the man sell his soul to the elites so that when he becomes a huge public figure, he won't be a thorn in their side like the likes of Elon, Trump, and Andrew.
These are just my guesses, BTW, as it could all be a rumor, but we’ll know about all that soon.
