Hello to everyone in the Vibes community! Today I'm joining us again to bring a new vocal work as part of my participation in Vibes Web3, Music Competition in its week #22. So for that I have brought one of the most iconic songs of the Irish band, U2, which is titled "One". Released in 1991 on their album "Achtung Baby", this song contains one of the most beautiful lyrics we can find in the history of the rock genre, in relation to concepts such as love, unity, acceptance, tolerance and forgiveness, among others. It is a song addressed to all the individuals that inhabit this planet, a call that invites us to begin to take into account the idea that we are all parts of a whole.
Likewise, although we are all one, we have our differences. We are not the same but that doesn't mean that we are not united by something. For me it is one of the most emotional and meaningful songs that the group has and I think that is saying a lot as they have quite a wide repertoire where reflection on humanitarian issues are present in their lyrics. That is why I also invite you to listen to it carefully, putting all your senses into it. I believe that very much in the style of Michael Jackson, with its songs of social protest, U2 has earned its place in the music scene not only for its artistic genius but also for its humanist duty. ¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Vibes! El día de hoy me uno por aquí nuevamente para traer un nuevo trabajo vocal cómo parte de mi participación en Vibes Web3, Music Competition en su semana #22. Así que para ello he traído una de las canciones más emblemáticas del grupo irlandés, U2, el cual se título "One". Lanzada en el año 1991 en su álbum "Achtung Baby", esta canción contiene una de las letras más bellas que podemos encontrar en la historia del género del rock, en relación a conceptos cómo el amor, la unidad, la aceptación, la tolerancia y el perdón, entre otros. Es una canción dirigida a todos los individuos que habitan este planeta, un llamado que invita a comenzar a tomar en cuenta la idea de que finalmente todos somos partes de un todo.
Asimismo, aunque todos somos uno solo, tenemos nuestras diferencias. No somos iguales pero eso no significa que no nos una un algo. Para mi es una de las canciones más emotivas y significativas que el grupo tiene y creo que eso es decir bastante ya que ellos tienen un repertorio bastante amplio dónde la reflexión sobre asuntos de índole humanitaria se hacen presente en sus letras. Es por ello que también los invito a ustedes a escucharla con atención, poniendo todos los sentidos en ella. Creo que muy al estilo de Michael Jackson, con sus canciones de protesta social, U2 se ha ganado su puesto en la escena musical no solo por su genio artístico sino también por su deber humanista.
