Hola amigos || Hello friends
For me it's a pleasure to be back here sharing what I like the most, music. It's been a complicated week for me because of work but I decided to take a moment of my time and dedicate a song to you. This song was born about 5 years ago and I created it for a songwriters contest that existed in that old house called Steemit. This song was worked on by my staff and a great influence of my brother @wilins who gave another sense to the work I was doing, achieving a final like the one I present to you today.
Para mí es un gusto volver a estar acá compartiendo lo que más me gusta, música. Han sido semanas un poco complicadas para mí por cuestiones de trabajo pero decidí tomarme un momento de mi tiempo y dedicarles una canción. Esta canción nació hace aproximadamente hace 5 años y la cree para un concurso de cantautores que existía aquella vieja casa llamada Steemit. Dicha canción fue trabajada por mi personal y una gran influencia de mi hermano @wilins quien le dió otro sentido al trabajo que venia haciendo logran un final como el que les presento hoy.
Years later I formed a small band to start a new musical project in which I wanted to perform all these new songs that were coming out in those years. More than a band, it was a trio of musicians. David Suarez (@davidsuarezms) on guitar, Kevin Guaimare on violin and me with my guitar and vocals. We had some presentations including at the Luis Theater in the city of Cumaná, Venezuela. We set out to record some of the songs in Demo format. Just to have something of us and thus, also make it easier for us in rehearsals as we would have a decent reference to use to arrive to the rehearsal room as studied as possible.
Años después formé una pequeña banda para empezar un nuevo proyecto musical en el que quería interpretar todas estas nuevas canciones que estaban saliendo en aquellos años. Más que una banda, era un trío de músicos. David Suárez (@davidsuarezms) en la guitarra, Kevin Guaimare en el violín y yo con mi guitarra y mi voz. Tuvimos algunas presentaciones incluyendo en el teatro Luis de la ciudad de Cumaná, Venezuela. Nos propusimos grabar algunas de las canciones en formato Demo. Solo para tener algo de nosotros y así, también hacernos más fácil en los ensayos pues tendríamos una decente referencia que usar para llegar a la sala de ensayo lo más estudiado posible.
The song that we decided to record first is this one that I present to you today "Ojos Amarillos" months after having the Demo ready I presented it to a friend (@beatriche) and that friend passed it on to another and so the chain went on until it reached one of the managers of a contest that was in Venezuela for a long time called Premios Juventud Venezuela. Unfortunately, it no longer exists, but the director of the contest at the time contacted me, which was a huge thrill when I found out who he was talking to. He told me that he loved the song and the musical proposal. He asked me within two months to have a studio production and be able to present the project in these awards. We got to work immediately and we achieved our goal. We were able to participate in this renowned Venezuelan award.
La canción que decidimos grabar primero es esta que hoy les presento "Ojos amarillos" meses después de tener el Demo listo se lo presenté a una amiga (@beatriche) y esa amiga se lo pasó a otro y así siguió la cadena hasta que llegó a uno de los encargados de un concurso que estuvo en Venezuela por un largo tiempo Llamado Premios Juventud Venezuela. Lamentablemente, ya el mismo no existe pero el director del concurso en ese entonces se comunicó conmigo lo cual fue una emoción gigante cuando supe con quién hablaba. Él me decía que le encantó la canción y la propuesta musical. Él me solicitaba en el plazo de dos meses tener una producción de estudio y lograr presentar el proyecto en dichos premios. Nos pusimos a trabajar de inmediato y logramos la meta. Llegamos a participar en esa reconocida premiación venezolana.
The musical project called Lanavenovino and Edwards Tobia had for a while sounding very well in the stations of the city and some others in the country with the single Ojos Amarillos. We were preparing for the second song of our first EP and when we started to cancel some expenses incurred from the first production we were short financially. Today this second song is in the hands of @diegoaudio for the mastering and mixing, of course that has its cost which we have not yet paid for the delivery of the material. It would be great someday to be in that fantastic judges' box and cross my fingers but yes, I would bet the money I get on this second song.
El proyecto musical llamado Lanavenovino y Edwards Tobia tuvo por un tiempo sonando muy bien en las emisoras de la ciudad y algunas otras del país con el single de Ojos amarillos. Nos estábamos preparando para la segunda canción de nuestro primer EP y cuando empezamos a cancelar algunos gastos ocasionados de la primera producción nos quedamos cortos económicamente. Hoy en día esta segunda canción está en manos de @diegoaudio para la realización del máster y mezcla, por supuesto eso tiene su costo el cual aún no hemos cancelado para la entrega del material. Sería buenísimo algún día poder estar en ese fantástico cuadro de los jueces y cruzar los dedos pero si, lo obtenido lo apostaría en esta segunda canción.
I wanted to bring Ojos Amarillos to Vibes because I think it's a nice way to remember the beauty of the process of this song and also a way to remember what it felt like to sing it with the instrumentation in the background. Here I thank Augusto Cordova (@augusto-cordova) who is the producer of this song and who managed to create this simple musical track so that I have it to rehearse and not lose the thread of my songs. Thank you very much because I needed to remember this. Anyway, this is my participation this week and I hope you enjoy it. Quise traer Ojos amarillos al Vibes pues creo que es una bonita manera de recordar lo bonito del proceso de esta canción y también se una manera de recordar lo que sentía cantarla con la instrumentación de fondo. Acá le doy las gracias a Augusto Córdoba (@augusto-cordova) quien es el productor de esta canción y quien logró crear esta simple pista musical de manera que la tenga para ensayar y no perder el hilo de mis canciones. Mil gracias porque me hacía falta recordar esto. En fin, esta es mi participación de esta semana y espero la disfruten. La música es lo que le da sentido a mi vida, mi pasión por ella, es vital como el agua para vivir. Sonidos que cambian mi estado de ánimo en segundos... La música me envuelve, me hace volver a vivir momentos que se fueron y que no volverán, me hace soñar, en otras palabras, cualquier tipo de música me hace sentir muy bien y la disfruto. Estoy agradecido con todos los amigos que apoyan mi arte, mi música. A cada uno de ellos ¡GRACIAS!
