Its a beautiful time to start up the new year with the mighty through this great community. I must confess that the good work happening in this community worth commending especially @lordbutterfly for this initiative and @verbal-d for creating opportunities for many that have passion in music not just to sing but to review their work for better output.
This is first time to review a song sang by someone in this community. I decided to pick @obaro for the review in this week 27 vibes web 3 music competition. In this post, i would share sole reasons why i chose it however obaro has been one of the consistent participants in this community that i have ever set my eyes on. He has been a model for me when it comes to any presentation in vibes community. I regard him with high esteem because of who he is and how he has also helped to groom and bring other people on board. It's such a good moment to consider his work.
Some of my reasons why i chose this song includes;
The lyrics
To be candid he really captured my heart. Its a simple but well loaded prayer from a sincere. It's an outpouring of his heart to God and asking for favour and mercies of the lord to surround him till the end.

Mercy it surrounds me like a shield, it will cover me till i see my king.
This prayer really encapsulated my heart cry for the year 2025 as well. This lyrics keeps resonating in my spirit even unconsciously.
The voicing
As i said earlier, @obaro has been consistent in this sphere of the world. His voice was very cleared and synchronises with the rhythm. His voice is charming for me. He attacked the song at the right time and sang with the whole of his heart. There was no sign of any pressure from his vocal chord. Everything flow freely and quite touching.
Instrumentation
This is an aspect i can't let go of this work by obaro. One of the instruments that stood out for me is the piano. I like the way it was played and it also synchronised with his voice and the tempo was cute.
The ending of the song.
The way it fades was quite good for me.
